This is my 100th review on AOTY!!!
Since I haven't yet properly listened to my favorite vocaloid artist's debut album, I thought it was about time to do that for my 100th review on here! Although I know it already includes one of the top 3 of my favorite iyowa songs, and you'll see which one that is once we get there. But this album is the start of iyowa’s journey as an artist, and I wanna see how it turned out. Let's get into it!

There is so many interesting sounds I can hear throughout the songs of this album. It's so diverse in that aspect that it make me like it a lot. I also just love this vibe in general, even though I don't know how to describe it, it's just so interesting to my ears, and pleasing at that. Björk's voice is kind of siren-like sometimes, it gives me chills. Like everything is so beautifully put together, it makes it sound unreal and ethereal. Beautiful work here!

An album only filled with good vibes and banger beats, HALO is truly an amazing piece of work. The electropop instrumentals really leave you hooked, they sound so satisfying to hear. I was scared coming into this album, because I knew it would sound weird to me. I was right... BUT it's not REALLY bad. I liked some of it, it was interesting! My favorite one might be War Over Land(I think...), but wtf was going on it head... I didn't like it... Anyways, thanks random rap album of the month! Time to move on...๐

All I have to say: stunning. Look out as she is going to sweep 2026 AOTY.
Okay but seriously, you can't tell me this isn't a really fucking good song.
I really am in love with her ballads, and this is not an exception. This really peak. Her writing is really exceptional here, and I love all the lyrics relating to medicine. I love the metaphors she uses here, like "I thought I found the antidote this time" like how this would be the one love that lasts for her. ITS SO GOOD! ... read more
This album has a lot of pretty songs, and I really do like the folk vibes. But I feel like with this artist, it doesn't entirely fit. These instrumentals don't entirely flow with Maisie's voice all the time. It isn't the biggest deal, but it's definitely something that makes it not as cohesive. Also the writing isn't entirely perfect. There is moments when she seems to be trying to sound mature, but it doesn't really hit that way sometimes. I really do like ... read more
