This might be the most redundant album ever
Half of this album sounds like leftovers from his previous album with either corny guitar-heavy songs or mind numbingly boring calmer songs, even having the same structure of starting with most of the more abrasive songs and saving a lot of the calmer songs for last.
This album also marks a new low in his rapping, using the same (awful) flow for EVERY SINGLE SONG, with lyrics that are genuinely almost in Dax territory

I can't believe Shine dropped an album even better than Losing Myself.
I think lil Shine actually improved as a rapper quite a bit since then, as the vocals sound a bit more natural on the beats, which was my main criticism of that album.
The beats are of course just as ethereal as expected, but also offer a bit more variety than I would usually expect from a pluggnB album, making the experience very consistently exciting.

Unfortunately pretty mediocre, I hope they select some more interesting beats and bring more engaging performances on the actual album, because this sounds so uninspired to me compared to their other stuff.
This wouldn't really be a big issue if c stayed a little mixtape to bridge the gap to NBD, but since it's now a full album and NBD is seemingly no longer a big focus for them, I'm kind of expecting a bit more from it
