Very catchy, punk rocky situation where it could become a 10. (Not saying its like punk rocky sonically because of it's post punk / rock influence, they're definitely different)
Strictly 4 Da Scythe has hard hitting southern trap bangers, but for denzel it isn't that impressive. still very cool songs though
Ca$ino being Keems second debut album, and him showing amazing growth in mature writing and storytelling. Ca$ino is his best song, I'll say it right here. That song will remain one of the most hard hitting tracks of the year. You get emotional and introspective songs like "No Blame" "95 highway pt. 2" and "I'm not a lyricist" while you get the signature keem sound with Birds & The Bees, dramatic girl, sex appeal, etc.

THE FALL-OFF IS FINALLY HERE AFTER BEING TEASED FOR NEARLY A DECADE!
This is Cole's magnum opus, showcasing 24 songs with no skips in my opinion. This has some of his best rapping and storytelling, along with versatile singing cuts. The album focuses on his home town, which is a bittersweet moment for Cole and his biggest fans. 39 Intro is one of his best songs, title track is one of his best concepts and writing, and there's a lot more to offer on this double disc album. DON'T BE DUMB IS HERE LET'S FUCKIN GOO
My most anticipated album of all time, didn't disappoint at all. Don't be Dumb is Rocky at his most experimental bag, although he could've gone further, I believe every song is executed well. The modern production fits with the asthetic of the album, being heavily influenced by different characters within the plot. In my opinion, this is way better than testing.
the voice quality for me is pretty meh (i recorded on a phone using discord vm in a motel š), i also used a random verse for it. but they still can't comprehend
shout out "Travi$ $cott"
lowkey underrated, showcases some playful melodies from keem with some/most surface tracks, but for a mixtape like this it works.
Self Titled is Cartis most consistent project with the cloud rap aesthetic. Catchy melodies with amazing production mostly from pierre on here, and the mixtape shows how cloud rap fitted carti best.
Octane is a solid late night album experience, but I wish we got versatile songs and energy like we did on Hardstone.
4 Your Eyez Only is J Coles most concise and consistent album, making it his best for most. You get J Coles most mature and thought out songwriting on this project, especially when you look at the title track. The production can be minimal, but it highlights his storytelling. Probably the most replayable j cole album considering it's length and consistency.
2014 is a bit overrated, yet it still has some amazing production with amazing concepts and rapping from Cole. I think the messaging in "Love Yourz" is one of the best from cole, and songs like "January 28th" and "No Role Modelz" showcase that confidence that I wish we got a bit more.
Wet Dreamz is also top 3 off the album in my opinion.
In Rainbows is not only expensive in the rock instrumentals, the vocals put it in an atmosphere that make some other albums that try to implement this style pale in comparison.
icon is a short and concise r&b album that has amazing singing as always from Brent with some modern day production.
Wuthering Heights is a fun, alternative pop album that showcases some cinematic moments that makes for a good soundtrack album.
I actually enjoyed this a lot, the very haunting samples within the eerie production along with the amazing rapping, covering what the album title is if you know. Although I'd say abstract hiphop isn't as enjoyable and replayable to me compared to others, I really anticipated another listen after the first.
