Travis Scott - UTOPIA
70

Really a lot of very good tracks from Travis here just a number that are kinda bland and it’s a very long album so, just fine

Conway The Machine & Conductor Williams - CONDUCTOR MACHINE
55

Really poor showing from conductor, and nothing all that special from Conway in my opinion

Chris Stapleton - Higher
65

Still has a lot of the qualities that make Stapleton one of my favorite country artists, I just really didn’t feel a lot of the individual songs, a few that stood out but just a little disappointing overall.

MIKE - Burning Desire
85

Expectedly got better upon a relisten, just front to back great moments, one of the best hip hop albums of the year for sure

Q - Soul,PRESENT
80

Definitely wears a lot of its influences on its sleeves but still comes out with a really solid album

Blockhead - The Aux
80

Insane collection of some of the biggest underground rappers with great production from Blockhead, def give this a listen if you into this type of thing

Björk & ROSALÍA - Oral
95

Shoutout to the Fish 🙏

¥$ - VULTURES

All the Drake beef and the legion of Kanye stans going after Drake for being corny just for everything he puts out now to be corny as hell lol

André 3000 - New Blue Sun
80

Definitely in contention for my favorite ambient album of the year, super happy that Andre made the thing he wanted and not whatever everyone else did because this was clearly a project with dedication and intention, just beautiful.

Danny Brown - Quaranta

Easily to most personal and kinda depressing hip hop album of the year, so reminiscent of some of his earlier works especially on XXX, which makes sense as this is the sorta unofficial sequel. Maybe my only gripe with this album is the inclusion of Tantor, loved it as a single and a continuation of some of the abstract and goofy sounds that were displayed on Scaring the Hoes, but just really painfully out of place on this.

Overall just a great album from Danny which is as to be expected a ... read more

Jane Remover - Census Designated

………..

This is definitely an album I gotta come back to for another listen in a couple days or so.

I truly enjoyed frailty, loved that glitchy feel to it all and felt that she was definitely one of the better hyperpop artists out. I’ve loved her other works, such as the mash ups under the leroy alias, and the song she was featured on the recent Underscores album was incredible, but for whatever reason this really didn’t reach me like some of those other ... read more

Danny Brown - Tantor

This website and their obsession with this mid ass rapper 🤦

Geese - 4D Country
80

A lot less here and there than the LP from earlier in the year for me, just all the best things about that compiled into a short and sweet EP

Clipse - Lord Willin'
85

The production might be a bit dated but it’s in the best way

Dorian Electra - Fanfare
60

Outside of the couple of singles I definitely enjoyed kinda disappointed tbh, just feels a little less genuine then their previous works.

Drake - For All The Dogs
55

As always some good and too much not so good

yeule - softscars
95

Front to back one of the best albums I’ve heard from recent in so long, like no dips no duds just incredible. And dazies and cyber meat are honestly life changing, this is so good

90 - - > 95

This just gets better with every listen it’s amazing

Pharoah Sanders - Karma
95

This my be my favorite jazz project ever, what a ridiculous experience
