I’ve been a fan of p!atd since a child in the early 00s. Yet, as I come to re listen to all of the panic at the disco albums, Viva Las Vengeance and Pray for the Wicked were the only albums left to be listened to in its entirety for the first time. As I finish this god awful album, it makes sense Brendan signed off and retired after this. Bro why did you even PUT THIS OUT?? It actually pains me.
Honestly was surprised to see how much this album still retains as an edgy child at heart coming back to relisten. Sure nostalgia may have a slight hold but you can’t deny Death of a Bachelor is good as fuck.
Went into this thinking it could be the most consistent P!ATD album even if it was good or not but came out realizing all Too Weird To Live Too Rare To Die is pretty boring with a few good tracks that define a lot of people’s middle/high school emo revival days.
Better than I expected even after re-listening nearly 7 years later. 2nd and 3rd track really scared me for what was to come but it smoothed out. Vices and Virtues definitely is designed with having a few diamonds in the rough.
This being the highest rated patd was not what I was expecting at all
As someone who grew up in sfl and enjoys Florida rap, soldierkidd’s XXX the Mixtape is a classic project with some notable favorite hits that can make a lot of sfl residents go crazy.

Undeniably mid; but hey track star came out of it for me. A couple other songs I could vibe to but Mooski is insanely annoying it actually has me gobsmacked. Not to mention cannot do therapy rap in the slightest on the tracks he tried to vent on but I’ll let it slide since it’s therapy rap Mooski.

A true classic that makes me overly proud and happy when looking back at the recognition it gets nowadays. From calming me as a tween in the dark days of living at the hospital to handling the harsh realities left for me after leaving the foster system this album has undeniably done more for me than most people ever could. While a few tracks can be noted as not entirely perfect; the album itself is perfect to me for cohesive and nostalgic purposes.
Don’t see myself coming back to this album too often but when I do I definitely enjoy for nostalgic purposes. In reality it’s better listening not in its entirety but rather choosing a couple of your favorite picks.

It’s a subpar listen while high which is a slight bummer given the basic acid niche sound going on but that leaves this album (a few songs from this album to be more real) as a pretty good listen when sober and wanting to feel a little trippy. Album has a few certified bangers I’m just sad to see the rest be so lackluster.
This album was such a shocker for me. I wasn't expecting it at all, but I was recommended it and Weezer did a pretty could job with this one. It has a pretty warm yet consistent tone of bittersweet melancholy. The first half of "OK Human" is packed with songs that will be classics for me with time yet once the second half starts the album starts to slump a bit. Well maybe a lot. Nonetheless "OK Human" packs in a lot of unique instrumentals and some of their best songs yet. ... read more
This is a good album. The Front Bottoms have always been an indie rock / midwest emo band I followed a lot back in the day and I still do. This new album reminisces on their old work that came from their self titled and Talon Of The Hawk but in the best way possible. They recycled some of their best sounding music into something new. And while it isn’t as raw, or authentic as it was before, it has created a new clean and appealing sound. The production is good and the lyrics are ... read more
Fiona’s Apple “Fetch The Bolt Cutters” is not an easy listen, but to those who give it a listen full through can automatically see the beauty in the work. When you compare her older work to this it really puts in perspective the power and apprehension that went into this project. It’s immersive and the lyrics her eccentric yet beautiful voice she puts together in each song cuts so easily into the heart. “Fetch The Bolt Cutters” touches on the daring and ... read more
Crywank recently gave us this wonderful project. I hadn’t known about this project till I decided to give “Tomorrow is Nearly Yesterday and Everyday is Stupid” a listen after a long while and saw they came out with this. The “I Love You, But I’ve Chosen Me” 8 part series is truly a great way to start of this album and to be frank is the better half of the album for me. It’s essentially all one big song, but they way they can have them relate but also ... read more
