A really solid jazz rap instrumental record. I noticed both of the most listened tracks are Nujabes features which I think is kind of a shame since they're not necessarily the best on the album, just have the biggest name attached to them. I still love Nujabes but I think a lot of the rest of the album gets overlooked compared to those two songs.
Was really impressed by the title track and its dynamic style that keeps up with its length. The rest is very solid still but that track just really stood out to me.
While not as good as Moonworld Playground but still really solid with a more aggressive style with an interesting change of pace that’s very welcome.
Really solid shoegaze indie rock album that solidifies Kinoko Teikoku to me as a great Japanese shoegaze artist up there with Tokyo Shoegazer and others.
I don't know why but F**kin' Problems just seems really dated and overly simple compared to the rest of the album. The Skrillex song is also an interesting twist but they don't drag down the album too much for me overall.
Didn't really seem necessary to have a deluxe edition but it still has some good tracks on it to justify its longer runtime.
The goat Dream Pop album imo that merges it and shoegaze incredibly well. The songs blend together but in a good way and it's just so ethereal that it stands out amongst an already ethereal genre.
A solid avant-prog album, nothing crazy that blew me away but still really good.
Has a really unique sound and vocal style which really carries it but gets kind of repetitive by the end. Still a good rock album that definitely showcases a style I've never heard before.
Had heard I Appear Missing before and was not expecting the rest to live up to it but it really did for the most part. There are no real skips and the album is incredibly consistent throughout. The mix of styles works really well as well without anything standing out.
Very consistent and overall good but some of the songs blend together by being too similar. Still a great shoegazey dream pop record.
Fairly underwhelming compared to his later stuff. Still has some good tracks but overall it's just not as much of a step forward as I expected from.
I honestly liked it a fair bit to be honest. It's incredibly psychedelic, even compared to their other stuff and it just works well. I just feel like maybe if it wasn't a Beatles cover it would've been received better.
A really good space rock revival shoegaze album with exclusively songs on the longer side which is interesting and works surprisingly well for this type of music and style.
While overall good, felt really inconsistent and kind of all over the place but had some really standout tracks.
Started off really solid and was most of the way through but could've switched it up a bit more to keep it fresh.
A perfect example of how to make a slacker rock album. Very different from Twin Fantasy which I found very refreshing.
