Kind of underrated as a Linkin Park album there are some really good songs on here.
Honourable mentions: Valentines Day, In Pieces, No More Sorrow, Bleed it Out
Favourite: The Little Things Give You Away
Another album that used to be one of my favourites. However, this one does not hold up as well anymore.
I definitely think that people overhate this album. Its not the most perfect album ever or anything, but its not bad. Some of the jazz feel of this album is actually pretty enjoyable, and Brendon's vocals, while they can be a tad annoying at times, are generally quite good too.
The songwriting is definitely a bit lackluster at times though, but its a post-Ryan Ross panic! album you kind ... read more
This used to be my favourite album, and I can still kind of see why. There are just too many good songs on it for me to dislike it
Zitti E Buoni is addictive, exciting and goes pretty hard tbh.
Coraline is actually really beautiful and the transition from slow to fast back to slow is really nice
Lividi Sui Gomiti is kind of meh. Probably my least favourite of the Italian tracks.
I Wanna Be Your Slave is not that great of a song to be honest and its unfortunate that it blew up, especially since ... read more
And now im crying
A slightly depressing (in a good way) album and incredibly beautiful
Honourable mentions: Appointments, Shadowboxing, Sour Breath
Favourite: Claws in Your Back
Not the best Beatles album by any means, but a very good one nonetheless.
Also Across the Universe might be the most beautiful and incredible song I've ever heard
This is an album that grew on me A LOT. At first, I found the rawness and simplicity a bit boring at times and didn't fully appreciate it, which was a big mistake.
Honourable mentions: Love, Working Class Hero, Isolation
Favourite: God
Sometimes I forget just how good this album is. One of the best things about it is that its not just another WWAFA,WDYG?
As usual, production is stellar, and the songs are amazing
Honourable mentions: NDA, Halley's Comet, GOLDWING, Oxytocin, Your Power,
Favourite: Happier Than Ever
Literally my favourite album oat. Production 10/10 (FINNEAS my goat), Instrumentals 10/10, Vocals 10/10, Lyrics 10/10
To add to that, Billie's growth as an artist is simply phenomenal. To go from something like WWAFA,WDYG? (which I'm not the biggest fan of) to this: a more mature, and just better, album in 5 years is amazing to see, and her progression as an artist is something that makes her entire discography more enjoyable for me
Honourable mentions: WILDFLOWER, CHIHIRO, THE ... read more
Oh no! My ball fell into my lines and made them squiggly!
One of the best "sounds like the album cover" albums. An absolute masterpiece
Honourable Mentions: Let It Happen, The Less I Know The Better, New Person, Same Old Mistakes, Eventually
Favourite: Yes I'm Changing
Not just an album, but a work of art, and easily one of the Beatles' best, as well as the perfect ending to their discography
Honourable mentions: Because, the whole medley (but especially Golden Slumbers, Carry that Weight and The End), Come Together, Something
Favourite: I Want You (She's So Heavy)
The most psychedelic Beatles album, and one of the best
Honourable mentions: Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane, I am the Walrus, Blue Jay Way
Favourite: All You Need is Love
This is a really lovely song and the fact that Paul is 83 and still making incredible songs is amazing and something we should be thankful for
I've tried putting into words my love for this album before, but it's quite difficult. This album is a trip through the world of psychedelics and the instrumentals create a brilliant effect, especially on songs such as Tomorrow Never Knows and the backwards guitar solo on I'm Only Sleeping.
The main thing that shines through when listening to this album is the level of genius in it. Having Eleanor Rigby, Yellow Submarine and Tomorrow Never Knows on the same album is something ... read more
The line "One day I am gonna grow wings" actually means so much to me
Obviously the rest of the album is brilliant too
Honourable mentions: Paranoid Android, Exit Music (For a Film), Climbing Up the Walls, No Surprises
Favourite: Let Down
I DON'T WANT TO BE THE ONE THE BATTLES ALWAYS CHOOSE
'CAUSE INSIDE I REALISE THAT I'M THE ONE CONFUSED
I honestly think this is better than Hybrid Theory (although that is amazing)
Honourable mentions: From the Inside, Numb, Somewhere I Belong, Lying From You
Favourite: Breaking the Habit
Radiohead's best album imo
The level of genius present in In Rainbows is unreal it's just so well-crafted and beautiful
Honourable mentions: Jigsaw, Nude, Reckoner
Favourite: Weird Fishes / Arpeggi
I love this album more with every listen
90 -> 100
Amnesiac > Kid A
Honourable Mentions: Packt Like Sardines..., Pyramid Song, I Might Be Wrong, Life in a Glasshouse
Favourite song: Like Spinning Plates (If you haven't heard the (Why Us?) version on Kid A mnesiac yet i would highly reccomend it)
"I need a saga. What's the saga? It's Songs For the Deaf. You can't even hear it."
Turn up the volume for this one you don't want to miss out
Honourable mentions: No One Knows, Millionaire, Gonna Leave You
Favourite: Go with the Flow
WOW I was not excepting this album to be this good. I heard about it because it made it into the charts on this website even though its not a super well known album and holy crap its amazing
