really strong kate bush vibes but is it that dreamy? is it that futuristic? no... not at all. But to be fair it deserves to be 100 with it's consistency across tracks but no strong signs of emotions which should be a must if it's an emotional album... thus an 85 from me
This is the only album I’ve ever seen where an interlude is the best song among all other songs + it’s cole’s worst album... I mean he literally gives nothing, normal beats and normal flows & lyrics. I swear if you give the floor to the 14yo rapper boy who’s always on the comments of ig posts, he’ll come up with the same shit
Not that exciting except from 3-4 tracks which amazed me but I don't think I'd ever listen this again
One of the few albums that could make any crowded place like a void when you listen to it. I used to listen to it a lot and after all these year when I pick it up again I realized that this album is a timeless sad classic
It's groovy af … I must say that guitar work is way better than what King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is doing nowadays but that synth doesn't match up with the sound and often it's very annoying. Yol means road in Turkish and I can relate, this is some sing-along driving music material.
Overview of the album: a dude spitting facts in 5 songs.
The only thing I share with boomers is their music taste... But ngl this shit bops real hard it’s amazing
2 remarks:
1) good ass production,
2) that Pheobe feature didn't fit I guess she can only do 1 style only :///
