Remi Wolf - Juno (Deluxe)
97

Yeah, these songs make the entire project so much better. I like Remi's creative choice of putting these songs at the front end of the album and then leaving the live version of "Street You Live On" at the tail end. All of the deluxe songs fit the vibe of the original album but also build on the same aesthetics and ideas. I would even say some of the best work of her career is on the deluxe of "Juno".

I really like all of them.

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper (The Extended Cut)
93

The extra tracks on "Vanisher" undeniably add to the listening experience of the original masterpiece. I wish Quad would do a complete version with all of the unreleased vinyl tracks because there are more that are also breathtaking. To think about the sheer amount of effort this man puts into his shit; it's insane.

I like all of them.

Grace Ives - Janky Star
78

"Janky Star" is a very whimsy and fun little project. It feels like the soundtrack of a fun fairy or lil critter game on the Wii. It is a consistently great and rarely loses its traction. If you're in to cute shit or you're just a cutie pie, you'll like this album.

Lorde - Te Ao Mārama
95

I already love these tracks on their own, so I think singing her songs in Māori is literally the best and coolest thing that she ever could have done to expand on the concept of "Solar Power".

I like all of them.

AUDREY NUNA - a liquid breakfast deluxe
72

Just to clarify, I am rating the whole entire project; the 17 songs altogether. I think the deluxe of this album expanded on some of the ideas of "a liquid breakfast"; specifically the catchiness aspect. There's few songs I would bump on the deluxe, and the songs that I wouldn't listen to are not bad at all.

AUDREY NUNA - a liquid breakfast

GUYS, I SWEAR I DECIDED IT WAS A SEVENTY ONE BEFORE I FREAKING SAW THE USER SCORE. Anyways, after much deliberation, I decided this album was pretty great. I re-listened to this album recently, and "Typical" was a song that really stuck out to me. It's lowkey experimental and it is really interesting to me; I ended up putting it on the rotation so I could keep listening to it more. "a liquid breakfast" (and it's deluxe, but we'll talk about that later) was an ... read more

Love that my favorite Lorde album is the only Lorde album on this website without the "must listen" tag. Not to mention the only album Lorde has taken songs from and translated them into her native tongue on an EP. Just saying. I am sure that this album is just as special to Ella as it is to me, and for that it makes the experience of listening to it feel a whole lot cooler. I feel like every single one of Lorde's albums are somewhat of concept albums, but the atmosphere and the ... read more

Frank Ocean - Blonde

Like yes "Blonde" is good. Like really good. I get it guys, but what do you guys know about "Futura Free". There's is literally nothing I can possibly say about this album that hasn't been said before. It's very simple, but it does make you feel something. The simplicity of the album is what holds it back for me- there was nothing that like shook me to my core on this album, but it is still undeniably consistent in it's aesthetic and lyricism.

Olivia Rodrigo - SOUR
82

Okay so let's talk about it. The short answer is: yes. I do think "SOUR" is an amazing debut. I remember watching the music video for "drivers license" the day it was released. That song's bridge STILL gives me goosebumps. Olivia's songwriting is at her best on this LP in my opinion and these are therefore her best songs. This album also got me into Dan Nigro as a producer. He is truly so talented and helped the nearly perfect execution of the sonic aesthetic ... read more

Charli xcx - True Romance
73

This album is very fun. I really think it deserves more attention as a whole rather than just another one song of Charli's that just randomly goes viral coupled with the caption "girl, whatever". I still like "You (Ha Ha Ha)", but there are other songs on this album that deserve more respect and listening ears. It's cool to see how unique Charli's music has been over the years. In "True Romance" you can definitely hear the glimpses of what she later ... read more

Choker - Honeybloom
95

The album that introduced me to Choker's music was the same album that made me fall in love with Choker's music, and that is "Honeybloom". "Honeybloom" in my opinion, is Choker's opus. The summery feel and teal and cerulean tones all over this LP makes it feel like a week in a tropical place where it's always 6pm. I have fallen in love with most of these songs individually, but I also love them in the context of the album. This is entirely different from ... read more

Remi Wolf - Juno
94

I first listened to "Juno" on the bus from Sharptop Cove, a YoungLife camp, something that I used to participate in the freshmen year of my high school. The production on this entire album is so deep; if you listen to the songs at a lower volume, you can hear all of the textures a bit more clearly. This album is very creative and colorful and is kind of a celebration of life and the lyricism is very creative and fun and honest throughout the entire thing. This is the album that made ... read more

Choker - Heaven Ain't Sold
78

I have been a Choker fan for around the last 6 years, anticipating the arrival of what was to be "Heaven Ain't Sold". "Honeybloom" and "Peak" are two albums that were integral to my summers of 2021-2025. The songs on those albums hold memories shared by my friends and I, but they also remind me of some of my personal experiences; things that I have only seen and felt alone. This album feels like more of a mixtape and less of a cohesive project with a prominent ... read more

高木正勝 [Masakatsu Takagi] - かがやき [Kagayaki]
95

There are very few albums that put my heart at peace like this one does. The soundscape and the way the instruments don't feel confined by time on this LP are what really do it for me. I love how many different sounds and textures there are that really immerse you into this warm environment, surrounded by voices saturated with love and admiration and trilling piano. I like how this album feels like it could be the beginning of something great or the end of something ancient. This album ... read more

Lyle Lovett - The Road to Ensenada
42

I grew up with songs such as "Fiona ", and "Private Conversation" of this LP. My dad said that I should give this project a listen because he really fancies it, and so I did. There were definitely some highlights on this album; songs I would genuinely play on their own, but I feel that the project as a whole was very dull and underwhelming. There are many songs off of this album that I feel like were just filler and have zero substance lyrically/sonically whatsoever. They ... read more

Tory Lanez - Alone At Prom
75

I just re-listened to this album (and the deluxe version) earlier today. It reminded me of a time in my life where I was some of the most carefree that I've ever been, and I look back at that part of my life very fondly. I really think Tory's vocals are absolutely perfect for the 80s sound he recreates with "Alone At Prom". I honestly think that this is the best piece of music he will ever make, and I am satisfied with that.

This EP was astonishing. The end of accordion's remorse leaves you almost uncomfortable with the silence of when the song is done. Does that make sense? Like not to be vulgar or anything but atp we know that Ben will never fail to fuck us thru the headphones. Loved it. Excited for what's next.

Lorde - Virgin
80

Lorde creates a soundscape that has a scratchy element to it. She's bold and very herself on this record. She's getting her chapstick, putting it on and then riding her bike just like around. This was a very interesting change of style and pace from "Solar Power", but it reminds me of Bon Iver's "22, A Million" with the sampling and drums used. "Virgin" is much more pop than that record though; I'm talking ideas when I am saying that shit, man. ... read more

イノヤマランド [Inoyama Land] - Danzindan-Pojidon

Elite studying album. I got this on vinyl on Friday and I have already spun it four times just while doing shit. This album is like Smurf Village but like irl. Like it feels like a fairy garden and the little bleeps that are in your ears that each have a unique texture and tempo but it's like cohesive. I also never knew THAT THERE WAS A TURTLE ON THE FUCKING COVER UNTIL NOW I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST LIKE AN UNDERWATER TRENCH OR SOMETHING OH MY GOD I LOVE IT SO MUCH MORE. I am adding 1pt to the ... read more

this song is definitely fun but the writing is kind of boring but it’s so crazy that everyone is going dance now. this song does feel like it’s meant to be danced to in a group setting, so i gotta give credit to the boy where credit is due. excited for his next project.
