Thank you @jonag for the recommendation. Even though I'm not a Michigander, I really enjoyed listening to this album. I can definitely see myself listening to this album while riding a train or on a plane.
Favourite and best track: Oh Detroit, Lift Up Your Weary Head! (Rebuild! Restore! Reconsider!)
I love the production on this album so much. Insane how Georgia contributed to 2 insane albums in the same year.
Favourite and best track: Concrete over Water
Good album. C'mon give them purple Must Hear there has to be a 15th critic.
Favourite track: Ring Road
Big Red's Big Sur is such an amazing album. However, it doesn't sound finished yet. Which is understandable and logical considering it's not officially released yet. I will be rating it a 90/100 for now but I can definitely see it grow up to 100/100 by the time the album officially releases.
Favourite and best track: Isn't He Funny?
Insane, just insane. It sounds so mature compared to A Seasons End. This will definitely be a contender for AOTY '26 for me. I didn't know this album was dropping so that honestly made it even better.
Favourite and best track: Hell for a Basement
Good enough for a debut EP. Has some hits, has some skips.
Favourite track: I've Never Met Anyone I Thought I Could Really Love (Until I Met You)
I was surprised I hadn't covered brat yet so I decided to review it for my ✨ 100th Review ✨.
I listened to this album a lot and I'm still not over it after almost 2 years since the original album dropped. The original recordings are just perfect, however. Some of these remixes kind of suck. Especially the "I might say something stupid" remix, why does this exist while "Hello goodbye" is still missing to this day.
Favourite non-remix track: 365

About the same as how I felt about Bright Green Field. Album has some ups and downs. Overall, decent enough.
Favourite song: If You Had Seen the Bull’s Swimming Attempts You Would Have Stayed Away
Genuinely insane how this was entirely improvised, I'm a big fan of the perfect transitions between the different songs. Great last pre-album release.
Favourite track: Aon
Incredible stuff once again—this proves how high-quality the band’s music is.. Something I noticed is, I listened to Knocknarea followed by Connla's Well. The ending to "Kakistocracy" perfectly transitions into the title track "Connla's Well".
Favourite track: The Invisible Man
I'm a little bit disappointed by Food for Worms, not because it's bad. It's decent; but it's lacking something their first 2 albums weren't missing.
Favourite track: Adderall
I seem to enjoy this album more than their debut album. Pretty good album.
Favourite track: Snow Day
I love the storytelling in the album so much. "Mountain Song" is such a good choice as a closing track.
