Releasing solo music that sounds exactly like your band... was hoping for more creative experimentation with her sound. However, the album is still extremely likable and well-produced. Hope she explores more next time with her sound and subject matter.

Extremely cohesive, thematically and musically. It's nothing we haven't heard before, but it is well-executed and clean. Why does it sound extremely sped-up sounding the whole album? It has lost its sound quality and gets a bit gimmicky.

Started off strong, however this album feels like the longest 12-track album ever. I guess he tried to make a dance-electronic album, but somehow made his music even less dance-able than his other projects. Maybe its the drums? Maybe he needs to consume more psychedelics? Or maybe the impala has finally been tamed?

The only enjoyable part of this album was the suspicious, totally-not-interpolated (uncredited) production. I did not know she could write cringier lyrics than TTPD, but I should never doubt her talent. Not only are the lyrics cringey, they're poorly executed and elementary. So long metaphors and prose, Hello CTE-esk poorly strung together words.

Call this easy-listening, the way it's so easy for my ears to listen. Dean's voice is so warm and pulls off such lonesome, domestic lyrics. Why are the English girlies so good at pop soul? She must have been invoking the powers of Amy, Adele, and Raye to create such a simply beautiful, cohesive album.

Easily one of the best albums of the year (and of the 2020s). Finally, an alternative album with vocals, writing, and production. Incredibly well-executed for an 18-track long album. At no moment was I bored. If anything, the songs kept getting better; Hayley's sprint of absolute emotionally-aware bangers at the end was amazing.

An amazing ending to the Clancy story. Loved that they pulled Trench's amazing production quality and Clancy's instrumental talent, and somehow managed to incorporate some of their older sound. Great balance between critically sounding production and unique style and sound. Like recently, they've pulled off great cohesion.

Great attempt at a soft rock sound. Quality is expected of FINNEAS and Ashe (above average and catchy, but nothing to write home about). Lacks cohesion at some points. I wished they had leaned heavier into the soft rock aspect than the pop aspect. For someone who experiments very well musically with his sister, FINNEAS manages to make the most radio-friendly pop music for himself.

The happiest Big Thief has ever sounded... Don't let their jaunty drums and guitars fool you. Lenker's vocals and lyrics will catch you off guard with incomprehensible deep perspective and the softest sadness. Always of fan of their work, and this is easily one of the best releases of this year.
Fav songs: "Incomprehensible", "Words", "Happy With You", "How Could I Have Known"
Though I do appreciate its cohesiveness, this album was poorly executed. The draw of Mac's album is its disjointed, unique execution. This lacked his usual style and sounded over produced.

Just as cheeky as last time. I wasn't expecting much lyrical and thematic development... and I wasn't surprised. At least she semi-decided to stick to one genre for the entire album. Sadly, she is incapable of multitasking and sacrificed her catchiness, which was the only appeal from the last album.
