upon revisiting this i expected to be let down, considering this is the turning point where utsu-p starts adding more electronic elements to his music. to my surprise, there were actually a lot of memorable songs that came from this album. still not his best, there are some poorly aged moments on here (and it only gets worse from here) but there is some real gold overall.

might be my favorite utsu-p album? this is such a strange album to me because it sounds so different than anything he's ever done. this is the point where utsu-p gets better production, as the first two albums were not great on that, obviously. but it was also before his electronic era was in full swing. its like a subtle mix between the previous and proceeding album, still has that raw sound and some really creative song structures. the guitar tuning is really stellar, i would almost ... read more
