I love the atmosphere of this album. I’ve been a casual fan for a few years now, but this is the most invested I’ve been in her work since she first released “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go.” her voice has matured, you can clearly hear the difference in skill from older songs to these ones. Really good, but unfortunately not a lot really stands out here besides Sinatra’s vocals. The jazzy instrumentals have a few notable moments, and those are amazing when they happen, but it’s infrequent and short-lived. While I enjoyed most songs on the album, I thought most of them sounded pretty much the same, there wasn’t a lot of variety. Still, this was pretty enjoyable to listen to, and a couple songs I would definitely listen to regularly.

This album is pretty much perfect, in my opinion. Each song placement in the album feels meticulously thought out, and they flow from one to the other incredibly smoothly. Every song feels like a self-contained story, and every lyric feels carefully chosen for that story. Each line has so many potential interpretations, and it feels very intentional.
