it seems like After has hit a creative wall. I absolutely adore the 2 EPs they dropped because not only do they nail the y2k “indietronica” vibe, but they also have some variety soundscape wise. this song feels like a regurgitation of some of their biggest songs like Outbound or 300 dreams yet does not capture the same magic those songs had. if they keep recycling the same sound the songs are just gonna get worse and worse.
