even after all of those years of releasing overall good music, some of her best lyrics, brightest tunes and overall best work still resides in this LP, combining both a poppier version of the jazzy sound with bossa nova tunes has always been her strenght and this album proves it, excellent for a debut.
Laufey's most recent album is a masterclass of the soothing traditional pop that characterizes her music with some orchestral and bossa nova touches, making a balance between all the music she had output in recent times since her debut. Lovely lyrics, catchy songs, overall nice album to listen to.
What I liked the most: Sabotage, Lover Girl, Silver Lining, Tough Luck
What I liked the least: Cuckoo Ballet, Clean Air

There's only one "new" song, with quotations due to obvious reasons and well... I actually like this song, it brings the full album to a closure, kinda like an epilogue. Also, I feel strong emotions to this track in specific due to being one of my favourites, at least when I was a swiftie. "totally agree on this one, the things that caught my eye and made me a swftie long time ago (just five years ago xd) were actually her ability to write songs with passion and love with a romantic but melancholic and sad feeling that's why I loved Evermore. Folklore to me felt like evermore but watered down, there were some good tracks but, unlike evermore, folklore was not really as consistent during the tracklist, also, I'm not sure if you also listened to the lakes (the deluxe track)."
