Ever since hearing those second singles, I've been dying to listen to this. Man this is good. The haunting opener of Arp Omni is great, i love how that bass welcomes you into the album at the start, and those lyrics are incredible. On that, the lyrics throughout here are so vivid and creative. I often find that experimental records like this have lyrics that are surreal and absurd just for the hell of it, but i never felt that here. Everything comes together and everything makes ... read more

i'm back on my bullshit
I listened to this on a bike ride in the dark afternoon, not paying close attention to which songs are which, just letting the music overwhelm me. Thats what this album does best. The maximalist production hits so hard on every track, especially Death & Romance. I love how the bass sounds all throughout and how it contrasts with the high pitched vocals. Whenever i felt like the album was getting repetetive or predictable it would hit me with something ... read more
get me off this continent istg
first time i heard this on the radio i laughed my ass off so i can’t really give it a zero. the autotuned deep voice with the sudden and random bits with more energy is just peak comedy to me. that said this still sucks major ass lol

I'm very worried about the wellbeing of my goat after hearing CCTV!! like, Stupid coming right after lets it go down easier but still!! damn!! My Guy is a banger, such shuffle beats are so rare now so it feels novel. Northwest zombie girl is also great, nice to see it finally recorded instead of only floating around in candid live recordings. yea, she's the goat.
goes hard, i feel bad for you brits that this is what y’all gotta deal with

I always got the vibe from Hozier that he´d been making music long before Take Me To Church, since i thought that there was no way his songs could be so mature and developed right from the debut. It was quite the shock to see this be his first album. His lyricism is incredible. its like, undeniably pretentious, but I like that, and he has enough emotion in his vocals to earn it. The only part where I think it falters is in the verses on Work Song, which I feel overuses the word ... read more
the verses and post-choruses show occasional success in emulating the hyperpop sound which she´s obviously going for, but what the actual flippity dippity fuck is the with the hook. what was she thinking, repeating the same thing over and over again annoyingly, completely off tempo. the carti verse is shit as well, its just incomprehensible. ig the production is aight atleast.
incredible track. not a 10/10 because i haven´t yet heard it like it´s supposed to be heard, and that is as i´m bleeding out in the pit
my granddad was always more of a stones guy than a beatles guy, i think i understand why now. the fact that they made this in the middle of the 60´s is crazy
i just have the dumbest smile on my face listening to this, its so good

This is the most Indie rock album i´ve ever heard (despuite them literally not being indie but whatevs) its got the crisp production, its got the electric guitars, its got the unconventional songwriting and structure. Its definitely a good album, i just didn´t care for it much. I wish the girls well though, they´re obviously very talented and have huge potential. Will return to this eventually,
