I don't know how this album is so lowly rated tbh. The only song on this that is not enjoyable is irobot which is awful. Every other song is just ear candy and jons song writing and unique production really shine amazingly on this one. Some songs are just really fun and others can hit emotionally and jon proves he can reach so many genres its such a good album.
It's aesthetic and has so much meaning and depth that always has me coming back. This is the 1975 at their very best and i doubt they will ever live up to this level again. Sincerity is Scary is probably the best song they have ever made as well. The only thing that lowers this is that the later half of the album has so many slow songs in a row that can get a tiny bit boring at times.
Emotionally it feels like i'm getting hit by a bus over and over. Every song is an emotional punch with solid vocals and amazing riffs while all still feeling different from one another. An almost perfect emo record.
Solid rock album each track felt unique but the middle lost me just a little but overall pretty good.
Nothing I can say about this that hasn't been said before just perfect.
Jon is just an amazing producer who can experiment with so many sounds that work so well. While some of the lyrics can be corny at times it feels genuine and like he's having fun. But the songs he wants to hit you emotionally hit so hard like mah, stupid deep, and blu. Overall just a really good album that is so well put together.
Perfect album. The melodic melody's, the symbolism, the themes everything hits so close to home. Amazing vocals and beautiful writing I can not hype this album up enough. Even down to the cover art this thing is beautiful. The only song I would say doesn't live up to the rest of the album is soil but it is still really good. Whispers and Saints are probably the best metalcore songs I have ever heard.
It was alright had some pretty moments but some of the lyrics and vocal performances did hit me too hard at times.
so repetitive and it felt like a lot of memes rather then a real album and weird production choices
Bizarre and very kanye and such a step up from some of the last couple of works. Some good songs and production on this one.
Classic guitar work and lyrics from Tiny Moving Parts. I'm just a sucker for twinkly guitars and whiny voices.
Some inconstant tracks on this one but most of the songs are really good listens and it's worth the listen.
So much power and style in this one really enjoyable. Lauryn Hill just makes every song have a lot of soul and gives this albums runtime every reason to be over an hour.
