This is better than most of his other solo work. Doesn't really feel like it has filler, unlike his other projects. The hits on here aren't as great as some of the others on his other albums, but they're still very solid. Definitely his most consistent solo album.
Pretty mediocre album. Some very fun songs, and feels very nostalgic. Faster Babe and Make You Mine are bangers. However, this album is just not all that interesting. Decent listen though.
Surprisingly, not as bad as I thought it would be. It's still not good though. Got a few good songs on here plus the Frank sample. Just a very meh album from Drake.
An underappreciated banger in Kendrick's catalogue. It's got some classics, and set the stage for his career. Definitely like this more than what he's been doing the past few years. This is just such a fun and funky album from him, and it's just super enjoyable.
Very weird album, but still good. I've heard some people say that this is the worst album OAT, and that's just false, have they not heard Drake? But seriously, it definitely has some bad songs, but there are some bangers on here, like Dr. Rock, Oh My Dear, Pork Roll Egg and Cheese, and more. It is very long, but that's the brown era of Ween for you. I do know that this album is certainly not for everyone, but I like it.
Definitely an enjoyable listen, but still probably his worst album. It is also way too long. With that said, there are some really good songs on here, and honestly, some of his best lyrics. It's weird, because while his other albums are very long, this one dragged more than the others. I do like this album for sure, but it is definitely flawed. Also love the subtle jabs on here at things like America and ICE.
Very solid album, enjoyed this much more than Brother in Arms. Really solid from front to back, and just love how this thing is produced. Doesn't put me to sleep like some of their other stuff.
What an album! It's so incredible to me how King Crimson can just make music that sounds so ahead of it's time! Don't have too much to say, other than Providence is just not my favorite. Everything else on here is literally perfect. Wasn't honestly expecting them to have two near perfect albums in their discography, but they do!
Awesome album. I was told they would be as good as, if not better than Ween. And while I may not agree with that, they are very good in their own, weird way. Very Avant-Garde, which I am not always the biggest fan of, but I think they pull it off perfectly. They kind of stay in their own lane musically. By this, I mean they stick to Alt Metal for the most part, and I was hoping they would be similar to Ween in that the are very broad. However, this album is super fun and a great listen.
Pretty enjoyable album tbh. Love the Latin influence on here, and the production is great. Bruno's voice at times is a bit off, but still mostly very good. That said, still feels like most of his albums; three or four very good albums, then just filler. Nothing bad on here, just mostly mid. In my opinion, this album just feels like it could have been elevated so much by his better half (Anderson Paak). Still a very enjoyable listen.
This is a great album. Definitely an interesting evolution from them, but I really like it. Way better than Cracker Island. Production is so good, and it's reminiscent of Plastic Beach at times. Really enjoyed the Middle Eastern influence on here as well. Best album to this point this year.
Very good album. Interstate Love Song is amazing, and this album is definitely a little more than just generic grunge. Love some of the psychedelic aspects and other experimental things on here.
I really liked this album. Wasn't really expecting that much, but man is it good. Very fun, soulful music, and just has so many good moments. Also think this is the perfect length. It is different from St. Elsewhere, but in a good way. Very good album.
This album is just uninteresting. It's long, and there are honestly some very solid tracks on here. But 90% of the album all has the exact same sound, and the lyrics just aren't very interesting. This album definitely gives late night summer vibes, but you only need the two or three hits on here to figure that out and get the best of what this project has to offer.
I really enjoyed this. Not gonna knock your socks off and doesn't do anything crazy, but it's fun. Very nostalgic for me as well, as City in Silhouettes was in MLB 2k13.
Absolutely incredible album. The production on here makes it sound so majestic and aethereal at times, I freaking love it. Just so well put together, and even though it's long, it feels short. I do have two minor nitpicks though. First, the vocal delivery is weird to me at times, although it feels by design. Just slightly off-putting for me. Second, there are also just times where the production just feels a little weird. Idk what it is. Even so, an absolutely incredible album.
Very good album. Rapping is very good, although the lyrics at times aren’t my favorite. Production is also just so good, which is expected from the alchemist. Great album.
This album is just not good. I guess I don't know what I was expecting, but I was definitely hoping it would be better than this. There are a few truly awful tracks on here, which really stinks because there are a few nostalgic bangers too. Production is also very solid. Wish this was better.
Kind of an overhated album imo. Sure, it's not anything groundbreaking, but I think it's a very fun album. Maggie has a very good voice, and makes all of the songs at least interesting enough not to skip, even if they're not always the best. This is definitely a guilty pleasure album of mine, really like this album.
