Honestly, a relatively unimpressive album. A few good tracks, but the second half isn't great, and the last part sucks. Just very disappointing considering how great their self titled album is.
Mostly good stuff, but somewhat inconsistent. A few true duds on here, but still feels very much like a Modest Mouse album, and I enjoyed it.
Really enjoyed this album. They don’t lean into rock as much as I expected them to, and this feels more like classic Cranberries than Faithful Departed. This album is very consistent, but doesn’t have any true standouts or classics like their other albums to this point. Still a very good album.
Pretty good album. Doesn't take itself very seriously, and has a few very good tracks. Fun listen, but not as good as Smash.
Such a classic album. This is Alanis' best project imo, and it's got most of her best work like Ironic and Hand In My Pocket. Nothing revolutionary, but very solid music of its time.
Another amazing album from these guys! Love the other worldly feel at times, and as always from them, the production is so one of a kind. Vocals at times were a bit iffy for me, but other than that, this album was perfect.
Solid album. For the most part, this album is carried hard by a few great tracks. Other than that, there's not a whole lot to take away from this. It is nostalgic for me, so maybe slight bias, but I enjoyed this.
A very good album. Feels very connected, and there are some really great tracks on here. Via Chicago, HTFL, and Summer Teeth are my favs. Jeff Tweedy is such a good songwriter, but his amazing vocals are really what help to drive his projects home. Great stuff.
Such a masterpiece. Very all over the place, but I love it. Wasn't expecting to love this, but I certainly did. Just amazing.
If I had one word for this album, I'd say it's unoffensive. It's the start of their sound, sure. But it feels more like they tried to replicate a combination of The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones. It's a solid album, but has some head scratching and just dull moments for sure.
This is a really good album. Not quite as good as The Forever Story, but it's still really good. There is a run of a few tracks in the middle of the album that imo, don't really fit on here. But other than that, really great project.
This album is peak. Front to back, such an enjoyable listen. Great production and guitar throughout. Used to hate Morrisey's voice, but it has grown on me a lot. Lyrics are also phenomenal. Just so good, wish I got into The Smith's sooner.
This is a very solid album, but a slight regression from their first two. It keeps their solid original sound, while also fusing nicely with a more rock sound. I like it, but their other sound was better. Still a very good album.
Really fun, danceable album. Bit of a slight lull in the middle of the album, but just overall a really cool and fun collection and blend of sounds.
This album is just so peak. Great use of so many iconic samples, and it's just very well put together. I'm maybe a little biased, but this album is fire.
This is a good album, but I think I like their compilation album a bit more. Still some really good tracks on here tho.
Slightly inconsistent at times, but a very fun album. Really solid first album from these guys, insanely sad what happened to the, RIP. What Once Was is the clear standout, and it is a classic atp. Great stuff.
Really good. Longer than their normal projects, but it's fine. Lots of good tracks, only one I didn't like was Fear of Sleep. Far from their best, but a good project.
Very solid stuff on here, but very front loaded. First two tracks are two of my favorite in their category. Still a fun listen the full way through, just not as loaded as Is This It. Good album.
