Holy cow, incredible live performance! This version of Glory Box might be one of the best tracks ever. Just love the orchestra for this performance, it pairs so well with Beth's voice. This is just spectacular.
Good album with a cool sound. Nothing crazy though, most of the songs are just aethereal piano ballads with great vocals. Which sounds awesome, but for an entire album gets a little boring. Still very solid though, and Bring Me to Life is a classic.
Solid rapping from the weirdo Jay-Z, but lots of the features on here suck. Don't have too much to say, good album with solid production, but trash features.
No surprises, another banger album from The Cure. They're becoming one of my favorite bands. Only true standout for me was the intro track, but this album is a great listen the whole way through. A bit shorter than some of their stuff, but it works here. Great album.
RIP Mac. This is another great posthumous album, love that his estate isn't doing him dirty. Just so many great tracks on here, love that we get a glimpse into this transformational period of Mac. Either way, Dj's Chord Organ, Stoned, and Funny Papers are all really great. Really awesome album.
This album is not what I was expecting. Love some of KOL's bigger, more poppy stuff. This was weird. Just slightly off-putting beats and lines, especially in the first half. I was more sold in the second half, but still far from my favorite album. I like Come Around Sundown much more. Still got some solid songs on here though.
Love this album. John Denver's incredible voice and solemn guitar really carry this for me. Sunshine on my Shoulder is one of my favorite tracks of all time, and there are a few tracks that really capture the intimacy of that track on here. Really good start to finish, if you like classic folk you'll love this album.
This is a good album. We’ve all heard the hits on here, probably a few too many times. But this album is well put together. Olivia definitely has the potential to make a great album. Love her voice, and this album is maybe a little overplayed, but is good.
This is a good album with some classics, but also some flaws. Most of this album sounds really good and catchy, but feels pretty unoriginal. Also some corny moments on here, especially the last track. All in all, a good album, but maybe slightly overrated.
This album is fantastic. Just love the climb to the beat drop on most of these songs. Such a fun album. Really love that this album doesn't take itself 100% seriously either, think it makes it that much more fun. Great stuff.
I'm not as high on this album as others are. It's got some really good tracks, like Paranoid and Heartless. But it doesn't come close to as good as many of his other albums. There are also a few tracks on here that I think are bad tbh, like Pinocchio Story, See You in My Nightmares, and Bad News. Either way, a relatively unimpressive album imo.
Normally don't love piano rock, but this is a classic. Somewhere Only We Know, Bend & Break, and Everybody's Changing are great, and so is most of the album. Sure, there are a few duds, but there are too many classics on here to really bring it down. Great stuff.
This album is just magical. In a similar way to how Disintegration is so aethereal, this album is just so peaceful. Absolutely love this. The thing about this album is like sure, there's some hits on here. But it's everything else in between that really takes your breath away. Just so well put together and so beautiful.
This is a very interesting album for me. It's at a weird point in Mac's career where he was still pop rapping, and his rapping was still slightly corny. With that said, there are tracks on here where he shows us glimpses of what he is capable of in his later albums. There are just some really good songs on here, but there are some I don't like. For example, some of the features and some of Mac's verses, like on Time Flies and In the Bag are just not great. Then there's ... read more
Love this album. When I was a kid, this was one of the few albums my dad had on his iPod, and I fell in love with it. Crazy is one of my favorite songs of all time, but there are some other really good tracks on here too. St. Elsewhere, Smiley Faces and The Boogie Monster are all very fun tracks. This project doesn't take itself too seriously, and that is why I love it.
Honestly, kind of inconsistent. First half is very good, Beautiful Day is so iconic and beautiful. The second half kind of lost me a bit, but I did like New York. Either way, still a handful of songs to take away from this project.
Really love this album. Love Jack Johnson and his message of positivity. Just such a vibe. However, I do feel like at times on this album it feels a bit slow, like an elevator ride. Really good album with some great songs, just at times feels maybe slightly disconnected. Still really good.
This is an absolutely incredible album. SO many great songs on here, and I just love Dolores' voice. This album has some classics, like Dreams and Linger, but my two favorites are I Still Do and Waltzing back. Just a great album.
Not actually a terrible project. Very corny per usual, but Drake has some very catchy, fun songs mixed in here. However, his flow is off at times, his rapping is just bad for the most part, and his features are questionable at times. With that said, this was still a mostly enjoyable experience, just very mid.
