Coldplay - Parachutes
79

An absolute classic album. Everyone knows the hits, but there are a few hidden gems on here too. While very song on here is good, Don't Panic is one of my favorites in their catalogue. Also, love the outro, it fits the album so well. Just such a cozy, reminiscent album, while also being a hopeful one.

Kanye West - ye
80

I mean, man, this might be Kanye's last great album. It's a shame he died right after this dropped. With that out of the way, this is a pretty great album. No bad tracks on here, short and sweet. Also, the last two tracks are up there with some of the bets in his catalogue. Not his best work, but leaps above what he's been putting out recently.

Gnarls Barkley - Atlanta
71

Separating the art from the artist, I really liked this album. The vocals and production are just great. However, it just is a little boring compared to their other work. Still a good project though.

Baby Keem - The Melodic Blue
59

I mean, it’s alright, I don’t have much to say about it. Got some really solid and fun tracks, but also some really bad ones. Just a really mixed bag in my opinion.

Aaron May - CHASE
80

Really like this album. I have been a fan of Aaron May since 2020, and remember when Ride was his only popular song. Now, he's a pretty well known rapper, and this project is a big reason why. It is very good the whole way through, and has some definite standouts. My personal favorites are Let Go, Cream, and I'm Good Luv, Enjoy. If you're into modern southern hip hop, you'll definitely enjoy this album.

Oingo Boingo - Only a Lad
71

Pretty good project. Not the biggest fan of Oingo Boingo, but I respect their sound. Don't really like the opening track, even though I know it's making fun of the people who are that way. They do have a really nice sound throughout the album. Although I do think this is an overproduced album, it's still pretty fun and a solid listen.

Dominic Fike - Don't Forget About Me, Demos
66

Decent very short EP, if you can even call it that. Just very accessible music. Really like the 3 Nights and Babydoll, and the last track was really solid too. The others are just kinda meh. Dominic makes some very decent music, just really hope he gets a little more creative, because I think he has much more potential.

Dominic Fike - 14 minutes
44

Just not all that interesting. A few good tracks, but it's not great as a whole. Some really offputting production too and questionable vocals and lyrics at times. Just not great

Mac Miller - Blue Slide Park
45

I love Mac, I really do, but this album is just not it man. There's a few tracks like Missed Calls and Under the Weather that I really like. But there are more than a few songs on here that are actually just bad. Overall, it's not a good album, and I'm glad Mac went more towards Neo-Soul and R&B and chose to go away from this.

Sade - Love Deluxe
98

Wow. Just such a vibe. Definitely up there as an all time album for me. Production is just absolutely immaculate. Sade is also one of my favorite vocalists ever, and this is for sure her magnum opus. Some of her more popular tracks are on here, but the album doesn't even have a moment that you think about skipping. Just pure bliss in album form.

The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow
68

This is a solid album, but far from his best. It gives you glimpses of his greatness, but is just far more inconsistent than some of his others. Also, not many standouts unlike his other works too. Still a pretty good album.

Temple of the Dog - Temple of the Dog
85

Really good album. This is one of the more underrated grunge albums, which is crazy when you think about how big this album was for the genre. Some really great tracks on here, like Hunger Strike and Say Hello 2 Heaven, but there's not a bad track on here. Just an incredible album.

The Shins - Oh, Inverted World
70

This is a good album. Was definitely hoping for a little more though. Most songs are either good or mid. Caring is Creepy and New Slang are the obvious standouts. Just feels like relatively generic indie tbh. Far from bad though.

Zach Bryan - Summertime Blues
78

Very good EP from Zach, but nothing crazy. Just good front to back, short and sweet, with some really good tracks on here. Great summertime vibes fs.

Brent Faiyaz - WASTELAND
74

This is definitely a good album, but I feel like it's the worst of his three studio albums. It's got so many good tracks, but the skits and a few of the tracks just don't feel needed on here. Ironically, the last skit is pretty incredible though, and Dead Man walking is probably a top 100 track for me OAT. Still, I think this album would be a great album if it was cut down to around 50 minutes. Still a really good project from Brent.

Brent Faiyaz - Sonder Son
83

This album is really great. Brent's voice was just made for an album like this. The production is just incredible, and it's pretty different from something like Wasteland. I think this is when Brent is at his best, with simple production that can showcase his incredible vocal talent. Great work.

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
89

Such an amazing album. Billie is one of the few modern pop artists who can put together a great pop record, and she definitely did it here. Not a skip on here. Features amazing production, vocals, and lyrics. Already feels like a classic album. Great record.

Anderson .Paak - Venice
55

Just a very mediocre album. Solid first half, but the second half is pretty terrible. Few really solid songs scattered, but this album is mostly mid. Might Be is really good, and Drugs is genuinely one of the worst songs I've ever heard. A very mixed bag here for sure. Anderson Paak has definitely come a long way.

Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans
79

I lied, this is Bruno's best solo work. It's got so many hard hitters. Sure there are a few mid-bad tracks, but this album is good. The Lazy Song is definitely underrated. I know a few of these tracks are a bit cheesy, but Bruno definitely pulls it off much better than most can. Just so good.

OutKast - Stankonia
90

This album is actually so awesome. Don't love some of the interludes, and some songs aren't as good as others, but there are just so many classics on here. BOB, Ms. Jackson, and So Fresh, So Clean are just so iconic. Really great album.
