It's a solid debut, but it just lacks that little something that would make the whole thing sparkle.
A classic of French 80s radio pop! It's essentially a tight collection of 10 bangers, and although some of the deep cuts aren't as memorable as its most famous hits, "Dans la Peau" is a dance-rock masterclass. Also, I can only commend the vocalist's commitment to serve cunt throughout the record.

This album is SO fun!! It's a manic rave party with the insouciant energy of child's birthday party and I'm all for it.
First of all, this album is very special to me. It made me feel like dancing when I was at my lowest and experience a semblance of spiritual awakening. Mrs. Clarke can take pride of the fact that she made an album so great it's actually worth getting out of bed so you can play it on your turntable.
