no idea what they’re saying but I can’t stop listening this shit is straight gas
it’s better than his last few albums for sure, but the spark is gone. there are a few stand-out tracks like: do it, fuck sumn, and carnival. the overall vibe is at least getting better again. if this wasn’t Kanye I’d probably rate it lower. I don’t expect him to ever recover from his mistakes at this point and I think I just need to appreciate what happened in the past and give up for now 👍
this motherfucker is probably a billionaire after the last two Weeknd albums but he still manages to put out these truly unique and experimental albums, and for that he is one of the goats.
I can’t give an in depth review on the techniques and stuff he used on this album, but his attention to detail, the 360 degree soundscape, and his ability to create other worlds with his music is incredible. listening to this with your eyes closed and no other stimulus can feel like a psychedelic ... read more
been listening back through this recently and bumped up the rating. the sheer amount of influence this has had on modern hip hop is wild. they were so ahead of their time and deserve all the credit they get, if not more. you’ve definitely heard these songs sampled a million times
blank banshee is one my favorite artists and i love everything about the act so im partial, but this album slaps. this is the best he's released in a long time. and he's touring??? i can't fucking wait to hear this at a venue.
this definitely seems like it was more suited for hearing it live or at least to get people moving around more-so than his other work. this album still has that familiar soundscape of his, but way more high energy and (i guess?) accessible. whole album flows very well ... read more
pretty cool, but not that interesting. love his word play and references, but starts to feel a bit forced. I think he can make some really fun songs that I want to listen to a bunch but his power to stay relevant will be tested for sure. he’s a lot more clever than his persona makes him seem. beat selection is pretty great
"Nun id change" might be one of the best songs in his discography but idk about the album as a whole. pretty fun as usual but nothing else really stands. it does seem he is getting a bit more comfortable with expanding from his usual sound, and he seems to want to change it up a bit. "Bad bënd / DëMON" was supposedly actually produced by yeat and was one of my favorites, might be cool to see him produce more of his own songs in the future
I’ve gone from very much disliking lil yachtys music to loving it in the past few years and this was a really cool turn for him to make. by no means is it perfect but I appreciate what he’s trying to do and I’m excited to see how it impacts others. I wish the instrumentals carried a little bit harder cause I think he doesn’t quite have the perfect vocals for this sound yet. I also loved lil boat 3 and people apparently didn’t like it so what the hell do I know
really cool, I think I’d rate higher but don’t have much to compare it to
he really can’t make a bad album, cool to see a 454 feature
really liked this.
canone infinito is so beautiful, but whole album has a sound I really like
this really built upon the last album and exceeds it in so many ways. opn being producer on almost every song definitely doesn't hurt. i love that these two came together, seems like they have very similar creative views and it's super cool to see the vision they are building
