Guess What Bitch, We Back Hoe!
I'm finally returning to actually doing reviews again after getting my finger fixed and being able to comfortably type again.
1. Lean Beef Patty: Really good song, really wish Danny's part was longer tho, feels like hes barely on the song. Also, the mixing on his part just isn't very good, which I get is probably intentional, but still, it doesn't sound very good.
2. Steppa Pig: First off, Danny's part is great. It's feels way longer than the last song, which ... read more
Yes, I'm alive. Just felt like I needed to clarify. I sincerely apologize for disappearing for 3 weeks lmao. Anyway, song review time.
Yea this songs really good. Even thought I think J. Cole is overrated as hell, He kills it on this song. His lyrics are kinda corny at times, but that's kinda with most of the lyrics I've heard of his, so it doesn't surprise me all that much. Not much to say that hasn't been said already, songs really good.
Certainly a good debut for Yumi as an artist, but there's a few things that don't really hit the mark. First off, the mixing is not very good, POISON had really quiet vocals, and BLACKTOP also felt like it had kinda quiet vocals. The beats aren't what I expecting, and not having a single beat from AVGOTDRIP is upsetting. While Yumi does have good flow on the songs, the writing isn't my favorite of all time. In terms of individual songs, POISON's mixing was really iffy and not smth I'd return ... read more
I've been incredibly pessimistic about this album ever since as if first released. I'm sure by reading my reviews on glaives recent singles you can gain a sense of where I was at with the genre change. For someone who's been anticipating this album since minnesota is a place that exists released, it was really jarring for as if to be completely different from the previous two singles. At this point, however, I've almost completely turned around upon hearing the album.
Track 1: "oh are ... read more
First of all, if u love me then shoot to kill should NOT be the intro track of this. Every song after this was genuinely great but the intro track had so many weird quirks abt it that i cannot for the life of me enjoy. The voice effects are so bad it's actually kinda funny. i genuinely thought that i need a bitch that look like lisa from blackpink was made over the beat of Just Wanna Rock by Lil Uzi Vert for the first like 20 seconds. Everything else on this EP thought was genuinely really ... read more
Edit (Original Score: 60): Well, it certainly gives me a little hope that glaive can make this album good, but still, the singles have been so consistently mid. Who knows, maybe glaive manages to make a comback.
It’s alright. Glaive’s recent singles haven’t really impressed me lately. I loved minnesota is a place that exists, and as if grew on me quite a bit, but the recent singles just aren’t what i love glaive for. Might have my least favorite writing from his singles.
KIDS SEE GHOSTS is the first and probably last collaboration album between Kanye West and Kid Cudi. Despite it's short runtime, being only 23 minutes in length, KIDS SEE GHOSTS is one of the most incredible hip hop experiences you can have. The First 2 tracks didn't do much for me, Feel the Love and Fire were good, but nothing extraordinary. That changed with 4th Dimension however. After this 3rd track, the entire album is nearly flawless. Everything about this album is truly incredible. The ... read more
If i told you when DONNA released that we'd get a song with XANAKIN and Kage that Larry of all people carried, you would not believe me.
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN
I randomly decided to listen to this album, and oh my god, this is incredible. This album (aside from Seamus) is almost flawless in all ways. There isnt really much i can say other than Echoes may be one of the best songs i've ever heard.
Fav Songs: All except Seamus
Least Favs: Seamus
While the lyrics feel like they're coming from a genuine place, this song feels soulless and corporate. It's catchy enough to be alright, but this follows the same trend as his other singles. He's leaning so far into this corporate pop/pop punk sound and it's not my cup of tea personally.
This is the most split I've ever been on an album opinion. On one hand, it feels like they were trying to make something intentionally horrible. which succeeds in some places. But others end up being genuinely enjoyable to listen to. Despite BUNGALOW 42 seeming like the most serious song on this album, I enjoyed it the least out of all of them. I don't really know why, I just did. QUEEF STEW manages to be genuinely really fun to listen to, especially Riley's verse, which has some genuinely good ... read more
Glaive makes up all 35 of that score. If glaives new album is terrible I’m blaming this song.
I was first exposed to this album via Steven universe, and my brother took a liking to Fifteen Minutes, and later the rest of the album. At first, I felt the album sounded rough, unfinished, almost like every song was performed for the first time and that was the cut they used. However, after listening to the songs more, I’ve come to actually enjoy this album quite a bit! Some things are still not my favorite though. The delivery on some songs could certainly improve, and the chorus on ... read more
Welp, I've lost all respect. I've really only heard two Hobo Johnson songs before, this, and i wanna see the world. I hate i wanna see the world, its obnoxious, repetitive, and actually hard to listen to at points, but something about this song is different for some reason. It's the rambling and constant change in speech. I understand Hobo Johnson isn't held in very high regard, but god, this song is so not as bad as everyone says. For context, I was introduced to this song via Hivemind's Worst ... read more
Wow. I already knew this album would be good going into it, but jesus christ, this is incredible. Every single song on this album is incredibly, nothing sounds bad, the writing is great, everything about this album is near perfect. I never felt bored listening to this album, even on the longer tracks Let It Happen and New Person, Same Old Mistakes. One of the best albums I've ever heard, hands down.

EDIT: Fuck Wilbur Soot
Lovejoy returns after 2 years since their last EP with a much needed improvement from Pebble Brain. The album has an all-aroud grittier sound than their previous albums which makes for a great experience. Easily their best work yet. The delivery on the album could certainly be a bit better in my opinion, certainly lines feel kinda weird to listen to for some reason? idk how to put it in words. The chorus on Scum feels very underwhelming compared to the rest of the ... read more
