Oh it's gonna be a drop dead and House Tour summer I CANT WAITTTT THIS IS TEWWW GOOD
Words can't even describe how proud I am of RAYE and the rise to stardom she's experienced over the past few years. To be able to put out a body of work as amazing as "This Music May Contain Hope." is a great feat, but for it to be your SECOND album is crazy. So, so good.
Oh Harry, you scared me with track 3 and 4... but you redeemed yourself. The second half of this record is AMAZING, I love it so much. Overall this is a pretty solid album, and I'm sure the Grammy's will award it accordingly.

Mitski is truly one of the greatest songwriters of her/our generation. Her pen is always on fire, but it was SCORCHING on this album. The production on this album is also exceptional, it feels like a true body of work and art. It's the perfect balance of still feeling like a Mitski album we'd expect while also branching out and exploring a few new things sonically. Patrick Hyland deserves their flowers and recognition, too. This is easily the strongest album released thus far this ... read more
This was pretty much just a nothing burger. No reinvention or innovation lyrically and sonically, this could've been released 13 years ago.
Highlights: None.
Solid Tracks: Nothing Left, Dance With Me
Okay Tracks: Risk It All, I Just Might, God Was Showing Off, Why You Wanna Fight?, On My Soul
Chops: Cha Cha Cha, Something Serious
THE YEAR OF HILARY DUFF. Sabrina and Hilary are on the same wavelength when it comes to hating men and being h*rny. This album was an enjoyable listen! I think this album serves great as her comeback. While some songs seem pretty basic and average, there is still enough diversity sonically to keep things exciting. While not the best album released this year, it is definitely good!
Highlights: Roommates, Growing Up, Holiday Party, Adult Size Medium
Solid Tracks: Weather For Tennis, Future ... read more
I get why some people may find the album to be lackluster, underwhelming, and mid- because it doesn't even really have a lot of fully-executed "songs". However, looking at this album and it's strong-suit, it really isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be at all. It's an atmospheric record that makes you feel things through sound, at least I noticed that for myself. I think it is a pretty decent record, but definitely not his best work or him at his ... read more
Overall I think this is a pretty solid album, Madison delievered one of the nicest albums of the year thus far (February). I really enjoy hearing her sing over a more soft and warm produced track, but it also has some strong upbeat bops too. I will say that the few really outstanding songs carry nuch of the album. An enjoyable listen for sure, with quite a bit of replay value!
Highlights: bad enough, YOU'RE STILL EVERYTHING!!!!!, bittersweet, make you mine

Coming off the biggest and most commercially successful album/era of your career with an experimental spoken-word poem track is a CHOICE... but one that pays off so well. Bringing John Cale into the mix was such a smart and clever move due to his backgorund and prestige- and to make it the opening track was incredible. Every track feels like its earned its place, I don't think you'd be able to take one song out and plug another into it and it all make sense.

I can't believe the score / ratings for this album. To me this is such a solid album and concept.
I am very late to the party, having only listened to the rest of the album (aside from EoO) just several weeks ago prior to the Grammy's when I was doing my predictions and this is a phenomenal record. Let me preface this by saying that I don't know much Spanish, just very basic phrases etc. but you don't need to fully understand what he is singing to feel the music. It is such a vibe it's unreal. This is so deserving of its AOTY win.
This album is so FUN oh my god. I am SO SO happy this launched her out of the khia asylum, Zara Larsson I can't wait to see what's in store!
Taylor. Swift. The woman that you are. Although the music didn't live up to the album's aesthetics completely, the result is still a dynamic and unique record. The production is familiar yet also brand new since she worked with her mentors Max Martin and Shellback, ditching Jack and Aaron after the last 4 or so albums. I would also just like to say, if this was made by Sabrina Carpenter or pretty much anyone else, you would all be eating it up and calling it cheeky and witty. But this ... read more
Sabrina Carpenter... Man's Best Friend? Well, no. Man's Worst Nightmare? Yes! I already can tell people aren't giving this album its proper credit and basing it all solely on the whole "she's catering to the male gaze" and setting women back 40 years tropes... none of which are true. This album is one of the best released this year. It's fun, witty, cheeky, sexy, and even a bit emotionally deep at times, I think it blends her pop prowess of "Short N ... read more
I've never heard a more beautiful bridge/outro in my life. In the music video when she debuts the haircut/bob behind the newpaper elevates it to another level, the cinematography, the emotions, the yearning, everything is perfect. Chappell Roan you will always be famous. Best song released this year thus far.
I just reviewed this album's standard edition in which I gave it an 83, feel free to go look at it! As for the deluxe, each song adds to the album's concept and emotional journey. Each of these songs has earned its spot on the album, they aren't just fillers or throwaways.
