bro thinks a thesaurus makes him the goat
also cole getting out rapped by cench is pretty funny
One of my most anticipated albums in a LONG TIME, and for sure it was good, but I don’t think it lived up to all my expectations. Future sounded great and had some great hooks and verses. Metro had some real standout beats namely like that and everyday hustle were my top two. But I think for Metro’s standards some of the production felt a bit chill and similar? But it didn’t feel bloated or anything so I think it’s going to grow on me a lot more as I keep listening, ... read more
this is nothing short of a masterpiece, personally i think it’s bon ivers best work. i love every song on here so much and its aged perfectly.
wow. this is aoty so far, i’m so happy the rest of the songs delivered the scrapyard ep’s were some of my favourite music of last year and having it as a collection and a full length is awesome. the production is crazy, there is so much diversity, just an incredible project. i think i like this more than idmthy
kanye’s rapping is definitely the worst thing on this album. ty dolla honestly was the best part of this project, his singing and rapping is honestly the best it’s been in a minute, and the beats are also great. but kanye’s lyrics (aside from his verse on burn) are pretty terrible and the flows just sound unfinished or messy. overall it’s a decent listen and the features are pretty good too (namely carti and freddie gibbs). overall it’s way better than it had any ... read more
as a big simz fan this really didn’t land for me, it was pretty samey production and a lot of the tracks sounded very similar they were also wayyy to short to have any form of idea or cohesiveness. the last song was alright but the rest was pretty disappointing
60>50
man this is boringggggg
really cool ep, i loved slipping into darkness and its just short and consistent, 10 minutes of great beats and rapping. super chilled but really nice. would love some more music from these 2
This is such a great album, and I can see it growing on me more in future listens, Kali sounds fantastic on this and the production and soundscapes are great as always with her albums, but man do I wish this was a solo project. The features really take away from this for me tbh especially on the second part of the album. But that’s mainly just a minor complaint and I think this album is definitely a grower. Probably my AOTY so far
this is great his best project since mrten08. great rapping. great production just a great rap album.
The more i listen to this project the more I enjoy it, just a collection of really fun tracks. No idea why people hated this so much and the new songs are no exception, especially third coast which is SOTY so far.
damn this is great both of them killed it. way better than the last single
loved the original song and i love gracie so this was a win. great song i hope these two make more music together!
some of his best writing, and most of the songs are pretty chill but i like them. hoping for a country album from him i’m really enjoying his non-pop/rap stuff, and laugh it off might be his best song ever.
alright, second half is nice and i’ll return to higher but the rest of them are either boring or the samples get pretty annoying, shame conway hasn’t had the best year cause his album last year was incredible
this is still a fantastic song. but i think the original is better cause this version takes away some of the tightness and conciseness of the original in favour of longer instrumentals, the added part was really nice but the beginning and end drag on a bit too long, a mix between both would’ve been ideal, still a great song tho
