A bit too long, but some awesome tracks throughout the whole track list, just feel like the singles included took away from the experience and should’ve stayed singles as they don’t really fit with the story and soundscape of the album. But great album, and a good end to the trilogy, probably met expectations but didn’t exceed them i reckon

damn this is disappointing. definitely kendrick’s worst album, and there were only a couple songs ill actually come back to. i found some of the inflections and flows here really uninteresting or just downright sounded bad and honestly was a bit of a shock coming from kendrick’s past projects. the intro, closer and then reincarnated and heart pt. 6 were the only songs i really enjoyed, but even still they don’t compare with kendrick’s better songs of his past albums. it ... read more

i reckon this is rap album of the year, nothing unexpected, just classic freddie over luxurious beats with not a single miss.

a pretty solid listen. it’s his worst of the 3 project this year and for me is a great listen (excluding plutoski) but it doesn’t have a song or a few songs that are like up there with the best songs in his discography which most of his other projects have. mixtape future always goes hard and this wasn’t an exception.
