This was so underwhelming... I really hoped for something generational comparable to 2015's run but it wasnt even close to anything released that year.
Plutoski is one of the worst things ive heard in my life but overall this album is not too bad. Its just... boring.
Song Ratio: 9/17
A very well made trap album yet it could be that mainly becuase it doesnt really break any boundaries
It just has very good songs that are absolute bangers and maybe a few duds here and there
Overall I enjoyed this a lot
This is a testament to how underground hip hop really overshines the majority of what's popular right now.
GRIZELDA!!!
I never thought MM..FOOD entirely about TMNT is what I needed in my life
But for real this guy is like Westside Gunn combined with MF DOOM which is something really pleasant to listen to
This, in contrast to the first album is a very boring and bloated project. It has some very good songs (Red Leather is my favorite Metro beat ever, Show of Hands is imo one of Rockys best performances on a song ever and We Still Don't Trust You has a very nice feel to it.) but it also contains some very very redundant songs like This Sunday or Gracvious which features one of my most hated popular artists in this generation - That being TyDolla$ign
This is some of the hardest shit I've ever heard future lay bars on. Metro really showcased that he is not a generic trap beatmaker on this album.
This album is a joke. I cannot understand how Kanye can go from one of the most influential rappers of this generation to an egoistic douchebag who doesnt deserve even a gram of fame he has right now.
This album is barely listenable which is a feat considering the fact that the previous entry in this god forbidden series was JUST. UNLISTENABLE.
what do i start with..
the production is awful, kanye sounds like hes having an asthma attack thats caused by smoking 30 packs of winstons in a single ... read more
This album has an amazing falloff in quality when it comes to the tracklisting. The first 5 songs are great but the rest are... weird.
There are some songs here that are straight up unlistenable and so far this is the least enjoyable deathgrips album atleast for me.
It's a very interesting project but some of the songs here are awful
I straight up can't listen to some of those but maybe I'll give them another shot.
Overall good experience but I still need to go deeper
Its a very solid listen yet its pretty hard to get used to some of the death grips style of music creation. Yet as I delve deeper into their discography I can see myself coming back to this.
It's a very good album and another proof that Madlib is just an amazing collaborator, it's weaker than Madvillainy by a mile but is still a very good album and I enjoy almost all songs on here. The highlights for me are definetly the title track, being an amazing underground posse cut and High, Danny's verse is just amazing
This album was really something different from Danny, and while it was very out of pocket to hear him more vulnerable and more emotional, but it was a very good listen
Yet still from the sheer fact that I love Danny's earlier work I think that Tantor is the best song on this album. Can't wait for 50!
I'm glad that this album introduced me to Denzel and I'm looking forward to hearing more stuff from him
Oldie is the best posse cut of all time fuck you hoes ladera till i die motherfucker
it sounds okay but rapping about the polish government gets old really quickly
