i genuinely dont think a song can get me as buzzed as headlines, and the energy stays high for a while, i'm even on the table for marvin's room. that being said... the end is a bit bloated, i could never hear a few of these tracks again and i would be no worse off.
while some of these songs are monumental, i just don't think about this one as a whole very often.

this is so goofy but in the best way possible, it's not my favourite beasties record and i don't revisit it often but i think that serves it well, as every couple of years when i do it's like i'm hearing something completely different, all of a sudden a new sample or reference clicks in my head. this is so cool, just revolutionary, a flow that can never be recreated, some of the best to ever do it.

well yes! not even in my top 3 prince albums and this thing still rocks my socks off - a true genius, basically a one man show but just letting other people play some instruments occasionally to let them have a turn. everything he made stands the test of time, what can i possibly say that hasn't been said a thousand times before. one of the best to ever do it !!

bit of nostalgia here, izzy stradlin my namesake, classic road trip album, one of mum's all time favourites, but damn, this really falls off a cliff after sweet child o' mine, genuinely don't think we would ever listen past that, hard act to follow. apart from that, just an amazing piece of feminist literature! and mr brownstone hate is sooooo forced !!

imo not even close to their best work, not sure why this was picked for the list. there's for sure some stand outs which is odd because the whole thing is a bit samey samey and just kinda hangs there. they were chasing that sticky fingers high, but for me it didn't quite measure up. time to get back to the drawing board lads !!

it's repetitive but it's repetitive fun... couple of wines and this is an easy 100

holy shit i love jazz. made me feel like i'm melting, half an hour felt like years in the best possible way, just incredible, you could put this on at any time, any place, any mood, it would hit just as hard. it's insane, it's perfect, what could you possibly change. one of the greatest jazz records of all time.

so so smooth, this was great. instrumentation was so cohesive it felt like it was just one track. every single beat was amazing, production was perfect. lacked a bit of presence on the tracks in the first half but the back half held it up nicely. if i was drunk this would be a 100 but sadly its 2pm and i'm working.
