god this has to be one of the coolest albums of all time - my neck hurts from nodding for an hour straight (i replayed black cow about 6 times). the production of this is so polished its actually crazy, just so smooth, felt like i was on the love boat or something, catchy hooks and amazing instrumentals. can't buy a thrill has always been a standout album for me and i can't believe i've never given aja a listen, this blew my head off, LOVE.

this album was super consistent but it never really went anywhere out of this world, just stayed at an easily enjoyable level the whole time - good beats, incredible timbaland production, great vocals from missy and all the features, shout out aaliyah - i'm more familiar with missy's later work and this felt a bit more laidback and chill, cover art tells the story, just a good time.
