Obzen is the first album i've watched videos explaining the music theory behind it, It is genius. On the surface obzen seems to be a product of pure chaos. But looking further into the theory behind it it is clear that meshuggah are pioneers of metal and inventors of a sub genre they still dominate and that no sound featured on this album isn't highly calculated and considered.
