Tropicoqueta
Top Tracks: Super, Tipz & Trickz, Not a Pretty Girl
I wasn’t totally sold with the opening track, but soon enough, the album settled into that chill vibe I absolutely adore. It’s smooth, laid-back, and feels like a warm afternoon breeze.
That said, I do think this record works better as background music rather than something for active, focused listening, more mood-setter than centerpiece. Still, there are definitely standout moments sprinkled throughout: little bops that catch your attention and make you smile.

Sex: The Album
There’s something oddly conceptual about this album. The whole album plays out like a sex scenario: it starts with a little flirtation, then things escalate in bed (ifywim), and by the end you’re lying there, cigarette in hand, reflecting on life and its beauty. It’s weird, but it works.
In some tracks, the whispery delivery works, it’s intimate, seductive, intriguing. But in others? I honestly just wanted the old man to back off a little.

AWWWWWW <3
I remember listening to their debut, but honestly, I didn’t really connect with it. That’s why this new album caught me completely off guard, in the best way. It’s a falling-in-love album, and it’s adorable. Corny in the sweetest sense, and somehow refreshing.
There’s something so weirdly satisfying about hearing a band known for their irony lean into sincerity without losing their edge. And once I looked into the story behind the album, I ... read more
OMG Las Ketchup!!!!
Top Tracks: Johnny Glamour, pink + pink, SOPHIA
Nepobaby?
Me alegra escuchar que ... read more
Lovely
This album is like a cool breeze on a late summer evening. It’s chill, effortless, and strangely comforting. Nilüfer’s voice glides smoothly over laid-back instrumentals that make it feel like you’re just floating through a really good day. It may not be loud or flashy, but that’s its charm, quiet confidence done right. Definitely one for slow mornings or sunset walks.
Top Tracks: Where to Look, Cold Heart
Nostalgic
It feels nostalgic, I love this kind of music.
Top Tracks: Cars, Everyone Is Happy, and Nothing Is Good, Houses
Cathartic
Lotus is a solid, cathartic listen. The instrumentals were a surprise, really cool and not what I expected at all. I kinda wish “Peace” had closed the album, it just felt like the perfect ending. Loved all the gossip behind this album.
Top Tracks: Blood, Lion, Enough
it's a Rat with Wings, I love it
I don’t even know what I just listened but I loved it
Top Tracks: Rat with Wings, Norwegian Shag, Sasayaku Sakebu
Damn you Isaiah
A friend of mine took the time to walk me through the whole lore of this album, and I have to say, it definitely made the experience better.
At first, I thought it would be much darker and more sinister than it actually sounded. I was even surprised at how beautiful and almost soothing the production felt. But then… I paid closer attention to the lyrics. Oh. It is dark. Like, really dark. Not in a horror-movie way, but in a slow, heavy, emotional way that creeps into ... read more
what 143 wished it could be
This might not be like an amazing album ever, but you know what? I don’t care. I’m just happy Kesha's free, doing what she wants, and sounding genuinely happy again. That energy alone makes the album worth it.
The opening track? Instantly caught my attention, it was so risky and weird. I’m also LIVING for Joyride, I’m so glad it got a second life because that song goes hard. Some tracks definitely give 2010’s Katy Perry (not a bad ... read more
oh so there are no lyrics? Okay then
Top Tracks: Smoked, Houndstooth
I can't believe I loved a song about someone peeing on a jar
Okay so… Switcheroo was my first time listening to Gelli HaHa and what a weird, fun surprise. This album doesn’t take itself too seriously, and honestly? That’s exactly what makes it so good.
It’s funny music (they say it themselves), but it’s also smartly produced. The whole thing is dripping in '80s synths and groove, with a kind of chaos that somehow works. It's wild, it’s ... read more
Voice of a Goddess, pain of angels
It’s her voice. That’s it. That’s the review. Okay, not really, but seriously WOW.
I had never heard of Annahstasia before this. I think there’s an EP sitting in my "Listen Later" list collecting dust, and now I’m mad at myself for not pressing play sooner. Tether came out of nowhere and completely destroyed me (in the best way possible).
You might think an album this stripped-down would get monotonic, but come ... read more
