Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version)
95

One of the Bibles of modern pop, obviously being from Taylor Swift, also has its cringe-worthy moments that didn’t age too well (yes, we’re all looking at you, Shake It Off), but there's no denying the impact this album had on the industry and pop music. It's fun, energetic, sugary, aggressive, rebellious, and I love it.

Taylor Swift - Red (Taylor's Version)

Oh my God, what can I say, it's perfect, by Taylor Swift standards (because whether you believe it or not, there is no 'perfect' album in Taylor's discography, in my opinion, all her albums have that one little thing that doesn't quite work, in this case, it's called Stay Stay Stay). Red is that safe place, it's amazing, and it's the album that holds the BEST song in Taylor's entire discography. That's right, we’re all watching you, All ... read more

Taylor Swift - Speak Now (Taylor's Version)

There was a time when I used to say this was Taylor's most boring album, but honestly, every time I listen to it again, I remember that this album is really a turning point in Taylor's career. This is where Taylor starts to dive deeper into more personal and heavier life situations, something that will become her signature move for the rest of her career. But in this album, we still have some very childish themes, so it's definitely a transition.

Taylor Swift - Fearless (Taylor's Version)

This is the album that makes me feel the most girly from Taylor. She starts showing her architectural skills when building those bridges, because I think my favorites bridges from her can be found in this album. She's still a young Taylor, there are still some cringy kid songs, but she begins to consolidate herself as the artist we know today.

I think it is a good debut, but it does not have that much of replay value. Taylo really shows who she is in this album and I think that's good enough for it.

Part Time - Return To Cherry

A Mix of sounds and styles

I'm quite shook this was released in 2015, it has a really oldie vibe. Kudos for that.

Top Tracks: Animal Machines, Manipulating the Whores of the Glendale Wells Fargo Cabaret, Lover's Sunset

Rochelle Jordan - Through The Wall

ICONIC, CUNTY, SHOWSTOPPING

Probably my favorite R&B-dance-pop album release of the year. This was giving Beyonce and Azelia Banks mixed together in a blender. Her voice is so soft and works so good in this sounds and production. The only negative thing I'd say and the reason it didn't get the 5 stars is its length. Probably way too many songs, but fuck it they are really good.

Top Tracks: Never Enough, Sweet Sensation, On 2 Something

Phil Collins - No Jacket Required

Now I know why my dad (divorced) likes Phil Collins that much

Top Tracks: Sussudio, Don't Lose My Number

Saya Gray - SAYA

Nice

It felt like a mix of the soundtracks of Coraline and The Hunger Games saga, and I mean it as a compliment.

Top Tracks: LINE BACK 22, 10 WAYS ( TO LOSE A CROWN ), EXHAUST THE TOPIC

Nourished By Time - The Passionate Ones

Top Tracks: 9 2 5, It's Time, Crazy People

Maruja - Pain to Power

There's one song that sounds like Jojo Siwa singing Bette Davis Eyes

Top Tracks: Jamie, Cry Cry Cry, Covers

Folk Bitch Trio - Now Would Be A Good Time

Reheating Boygenius' Nachos

Top Tracks: Moth Song, Cathode Ray, Sarah

Dijon - Baby
84

Weirdest album of the year???

Those first two songs were cringy AF, but I suddenly got the vibe and I quite enjoyed all the chaos. You can tell Dijon worked in Bon Iver's latest album, the production is IDENTICAL, but it also kinda reminded me of Phil Collins and MJ. This might be a hot take but I think this would be the kind of music MJ would do if he was alive in these times.

Top Tracks: Yamaha, Automatic, (Referee)

Deftones - private music
83

Nice

so...believe it or not, I'm not mush of a metal/hard rock listener (shocking, I know) but this one I pretty liked it. I listened to it in a day full of work and it gave me the right punch and energy I needed.

Top Tracks: infinite source, souvenir, I think about you all the time

DEBBY FRIDAY - The Starrr of the Queen of Life

She gave me early 2000's electronic/dance/house, but like the whole variety

Top Tracks: 1/17, Lipsync, Alberta

Danny Ocean - Babylon Club

Meh

Top Tracks: Crayola, AyMami
