This is in my top 5 albums of all time, I could spend hours typing out how much the album has done for me, but tbh, the album and the reputation it already has speaks for it's self
Probably my favorite rap album of the year, my one gripe is these goddam Pharrell hooks
Some of the melodies and production is really good, but I feel like he falls on the rapping and just his verses on this album in general, still a fun show of production
Just overall extreme fun hip hop, I still prefer the first Alfredo but I feel like this leads to a fun experience
I'm back with reviewing with probably my favorite artist in a min, I really admire how cinematic this and the concept album prior were, I genuinely think that this 3 album run is perfect, with vanisher is the most polished his sound has ever been, truly feeling like a voyage. Unmatched.
HOLY PEAK,
This shit sounds awesome, And the way the entire album covers toxic masculinity in such a way that is so cinematic and sonically thrilling is amazing. PEAK.
Great live album, I think the vocal side of things are going well despite the fact that more Issac wood would've been awesome. There is amazing instrumentation in here as well. It's just a quality live album 🤷
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS OF ALL TIME
Isaac wood did an incredible job full imagining the somber instrumentals with an extremely Shakey and miserable tone to his voice that just completes the emotional factor all of these songs have
The instrumentation and musicality of the album is genuinely on another level for me. I genuinely think that the placement of every instrument and it's mixing was genuinely flawless (besides the drum mixing problem on snowglobes but I forgive it for ... read more
Phenomenal debut album. It truly displayed everything that Black Country, New Road had with exiting and dense instrumentals. And Issac's voice is just the cherry on top bringing the whole vibe together for a great project. It doesn't feel exactly complete but is a truly fun and exiting listen.
This is a very strange album that shows his abstract and manic style, while in most of the other songs shows his more toned down rapping style, which both work pretty well on this album. I just wish some of the more toned down performance had a bit more umph. Still a great project nonetheless.
This is one of the best albums to come out of the experimental rap scene with Danny brown rapping about his substance abuse and his mental struggles you can really feel all of the emotion in the wild production and manic rapping from danny brown's manic rapping.
Although a bit long, and it has some rough patches. This is truly a great abstract rap album. Danny browns voice brings a really rough edge to everything and helps it come together. along with his pen game that also are on the forefront of this album.
Holy shit this album is jam packed with songs with rock elements mixed in that truly are a joy to listen to. This is an amazing display of peggy's pennmanship, and production as a whole. AMAZING
This album is FUN AS HELL, I don't even really have a problem with the mixing on danny brown's voice that much because this album is a joy every time. Top 3 peggy
This is the best display of peggy's rapping performances that is a fact. In terms of production maybe not the most abstract or forward thinking ideas he has had (for the most part) but everything fits the mood and flows together so well that it doesn't even matter at the end of the day. Amazing. Top 3 peggy.
I don't think this album has a real foundation of what it is, it is jam packed with so much going on that it is really hard to define it but calling it "experimental". But i feel like That's its charm tbh, its Great.
A great first showing of peggy's rapping capabilities. The quirkiness of this album can sometimes come off as cringey. but overall I think this is another great project by him.
