I like LP, Meteora and The Hunting Party are definitely my favourite albums from them so when From Zero released I hoped that ideally the sound of the album would be similar to them. I'll be honest, I'm a pretty big sucker for songs that have overblown chorusses, so I honestly don't mind it. This is something I'd hear on the radio in 2020-2021 and I wouldn't mind it.
R.I.P to one of the most unique producers out there, this album will never be forgotten.
While the length of the album might deceive you (30 tracks), it's honestly a press smooth listen all around. Very fun and choppy production with lots of samples, to the point I would have to write an entire essay to go through every sample this album uses. That album cover is so unbelievably cool, some of the beats kinda remind of gba Pokemon rom hack/ fan game songs (Cycles To Gehenna, Ruby81, Racing Stripes, Gopher Guts) which I find really cool tbh!
