Great production and some standout lyrics but most of this is the weakest performances Skeletrix has had. A lot of the album feels too uneventful to justify its length and although the instrumental tracks are good Skeletrix really leaves a lot to be desired on the songs he raps on. Bro talks about his old music being slop and hypes up “sending a message for the kids” on his next album then proceeds to drop an album with the same level of depth as every generic trap album dropped in the last 10 years. Yeat’s vocals has lost pretty much all of his former versatility (aside from what went wrong) and he’s still leaning heavy on the production to save him. Great sound but it’s very limited and it’s been done before. Glad this sound got a concise ep instead of a full album.
Best project under 10 minutes. PBS is truthfully in his own lane and this is certainly his best project.
