Honestly, I hated this when I first heard it. It's crazy how much it's grown on me, to the point that it's in my top 10 albums ever. Julians lyricism is as potent as ever and all the songs sound like they've been dehydrated and promptly slathered in oil. Even the poppier songs get this treatment and it's all the better for it. It's definitely weird and will never be for everyone, but I love it.
