if this was called ‘eloquent fashion’ and was by a guy called bustin queefer with 200 monthly listeners it would have an 80+ user score
This album is really interesting and experimental compared to most albums, but I feel like there was more room to go all in on creating a unique record here, something more like the last album I reviewed, 'Playing Robots Into Heaven' by James Blake. Having the likes of Sampha on the album made up for this wasted potential however, as the vocal range of Sampha in particular helped to create more variation between tracks, but overall still lacked when compared with what could've been.
