This album was my introduction to a whole lot of different genres, as I had never listened to post rock, shoegaze or post punk prior and that's what intitially made me love this album but since then what I appreciate the most about the album is the song writing as its both a story about the hunter killing god and the aftermath of it but it's also about Dan Barrett's mental health which makes it an almost fascinating listen.
It's starts off as a soft sad piano then it kicks up into a heavy breakdown that fills you with so much emotion and I couldn't recommend this song enough as its genuinely amazing
It's definitely not the best lyrically, vocally or instrumentally but there is something about it which just feels so peaceful
This album isn't good at all and very different to what I expected as I only listened to his most recent songs most of which l loved for example this body means nothing to me. The only good song on this album is U suck
Been toying with giving this album a perfect score for a while, finally gave in and realised how amazing it truly is
I think Dustin is amazing and Sadakiyo is also really good just not as good
doesnt come close to this body means nothing to me but I still think its pretty good
I love Jean Dawson's music although i know its not the best.
Best tracks: Bad Fruit, Sick of it and Pirate Radio
Worst tracks: Huh
If this album had good mixing it would be really good but the poor mixing is just really annoying
somewhat surprised as it isnt as bad as I thought it was going to be, still mid tho
