ive been putting off listening to acid bath for years (i think the gacy cover kinda made me stray away) but i wish i didn't wait for so long to listen. i realllyyyy enjoy all tracks on this album and its so nasty good i love it !!! this whole album doesn't have really any skips at all for me, i'd say the only two i may not be feeling all the time is dr seuss is dead and jezebel.
fav tracks - tranquilized, finger painting of the insane, scream of the butterfly, dope fiend, ... read more
fucking love the movie samples on this album,,, unfortunately that's the only thing i love off this album. i personally like shuffling this album when i don't have a specific song i want to hear because i know I'll get relatively the same sound and riffs. not fun to listen to in order but if you go randomly off the tracks, it's pretty sick
fav tracks - splattered, rabid, chainsaw dismemberment, mauled beyond recognition, island of the dead, psychotic rage, camp blood
ok i really cant help it i love mortician for some reason fuckin sue me!!
i like hacked up for barbeque more than chainsaw dismemberment because this album has more variation for sure (chainsaw dismemberment is the same song on repeat x50 whoops). idk what else to say but mortician usually scratches this deep deep itch in the back-bottom side of my brain and it sounds great selectively. then again this is deathgrind and i genuinely cant listen to ooga booga vocals for more than five songs so ... read more
i actually cried hearing helena for the first time. so crisp. so good. cried through this WHOLE album actually because it sounds so good. #threecheersgirl4life
first track oh my fucking GODDD!!! D1 HATER
i feel bad for laughing at the first track, unsuccessfully coping with the natural beauty of infidelity (those long ass fob and panic! titles have trained me for this tbh) but oh my god i wasn't expecting the slut, whore, cunt chant LMFAOOOO
fuck with this album hard though. unsuccessfully coping, gravitational constant, and xero tolerance are my favs. der untermensch is obviously a little jarring at first and i think its completely fine to ... read more
listening to free your hate without the introduction is sooo uncanny but this rerelease fucks anyway
i dont have physical reactions to albums very often but a lot of this album actually makes me writhe and nod my head because of how fire it is. this is my second KMFDM album I've listened to in full and godddddd I'm so glad i did because its really fucking good!!! my favorites are blackball, stars and stripes, jihad, and moron. I'm also a little bit of a fan of intro despite it being a introduction song for the members. idk it goes hard! the second half of this album is just ... read more
ummmm i’m gonna come back to this but my thoughts:
i’m not a huge fan of this glam metal sound. i shouldve kinda expected this, but then again i’m also a slut for real nasty heavy metal like meliora or infestissumam or opus. this albums kinda just….. bland ? underwhelming? satanized and lachryma, especially lachryma i fucking LOVE, really set this tone in my mind that we were going to get an album that sounded similar to those singles. then peacefield dropped, and i ... read more
no skips on this album, love it so much. it’s tied for second favorite panic! album between pretty. odd. i truly believe this was panic!’s last album and nothing else was made after it. viva las vegas or whatever the shit was a figment of our imaginations
pretty. odd. is my second favorite panic! work, and for good reason. the turn from the red and black cabaret feel of a fever you can’t sweat out to this folky and whimsical aesthetic is beautifully done in my opinion. i believe this was the peak for panic!, creative-wise. this album is just so good, just so fun. i feel like it’s perfect in length, and i’m honestly glad panic! kept this sound for one album instead of exploring further with it. favorite tracks are she’s a ... read more
a fever you can’t sweat out wasn’t a top listen, barely a listen at all except for i write sins not tragedies, when i was in my emo phase. as i get older i love this album more and more. i love the cabaret/burlesque/circus aesthetics, i love the writing, i love the production. while i don’t think this album is a hidden gem, or that it’s great work, it doesn’t stop me from loving it. i think it’s a fun experience! this is also ryan ross territory so i love it ... read more
i’m ashamed to admit i went through a peep phase but i am not ashamed to admit i can still bump most of COWYS
Wiped Out! will forever be my favorite nostalgia piece from when i started venturing out into music on my own
i overplayed the shit out of this album along with I’m Sorry.. and Wiped Out! when i was younger. did The Neighbourhoods sound from this era age well? decently. do i crave their sound as i’m older? no. but i deeply appreciate the 2013-2016 gloomy tumblr flashbacks i get whenever i hear any track from this album or any of their other works. this seductive and melancholic sound is perfectly encapsulated in I Love You. they’re forgetful now that i haven’t listened in years, ... read more
i never thought i’d hate trippie redd like i hate mgk for this shit
