its not very often with music that i get the feeling i am witnessing something truly special for the first time, but this definitely reminded me of how chilling that felt.

the album opens with “rope”, a track that hits you like a truck with every minute that passes, which perfectly encapsulates everything i love about this entire album; its beautiful, noisy, grand, and just so criminally good in the sense that it feels illegal to make music THIS amazing.
