It would be much higher for me if you cut it down to 30 minutes and threw away some of the more boring, stale tracks. Otherwise, it’s definitely a vibe, with some interesting production and absolutely horrendous lyricism.
Much more explosive, confident and enganging then their last one. I really enjoyed it!
(also Life's What You Make It might be one of the best songs ever made)
edit: (85->89) it keeps getting better with every listen
Very interesting sounds and harmonies on this one but only a few truly gripping tracks.
Maybe I should check out their later albums? I've heard they are quite alright.
I found it rather dull, except for the few rightfully known songs.
Edit: It's getting warmer. (68->72)
Edit 2: It drew me back in and I think I get it now (72->78)
I don't know why I didn't enjoy this one upon its release. Sure, it's not as catchy as RTJ2, but it still boasts some of the nastiest beats in hip hop, with even better production than before.
Disco Elysium is probably one of the most important games of this decade and definitely is one of the most significant games for me personally. And the soundtrack is a big part of what makes the overall product so amazing. Goosebumps all around! Surprisingly, most of the 28 tracks on this soundtrack work well even without the context of the game, and those few that don't are still used in a great way by the game.
Some nice moments, but most of the time there is nothing particularly interesting going on, and I start to get bored.
when he went Green Goblin Mode I really felt that ✊😩
