This is a great shoegaze album. Well, it's kinda shoegaze, the other part are some really sick beats. Honestly I'm not sure what I just listened to but it wasn't bad, so I guess it's a good album.
Although this is an excellent album, it feels very disconnected at times. The song's genres switch up at some points which throw me off, and although the songs by themselves are nice, all together it's more of a mess than anything.
Still a cool album.
Holy shit. Not only was the storytelling terrifying and descriptive, but the "instrumentals" (if you can even call it that) were perfectly aligned and fitting with every single second of this spine-tingling album.
Surprisingly funny. I did not expect that from a YouTuber who primarily plays Minecraft, good job!
"...that I know a great deal about. Everyone knows that you are fucked up, and everyone knows that I am fucked up, but does everyone know that you are more fucked up than me?"
This album will forever haunt me in a good way. This is something that will keep nagging at me forever, the sounds that are being made within these songs can never be remade. The Swans really do have that kind of essence that can't be captured with any other band. I bet I will say that a lot, but with the ... read more
This is a true masterpiece, and the more I listen to it, the more I drift off, peacefully, into solace...
Dream sounds like he's holding his fans at gunpoint to tell them that this song is a good, relatable song. Everything about this is terrible and it feels like Dream is trying to be all emo and cool and shit, when in reality, he's nowhere close to that, and it's backfiring on him terribly through this song.
Not only are the lyrics objectively bad, the way Jax says them sends me into a deeper part of Hell just listening to the song. This MIGHT actually be the worst song of the decade, and that's not even the worst part.
The song gets the story of Cinderella all wrong and the part where she talks fast had me listening 4 times over before giving up and looking at the lyrics online just because I couldn't hear her. And I thought things wouldn't get worse than mumble rap!
Anyways, the whole song is ... read more
This is most likely the best song I will ever rate. The feeling of the song and the lyrics will forever stay with me. This song tells a story, and although it might not seem apparent at first, it will forever be etched into the hearts and minds of many. I am glad this song exists, because it fills a void that I never thought would be filled; thank you for this amazing song, Foo Fighters.
This might sound crazy. I'm rating this higher than a Destroy Lonely album! Well, that's because this album has a meaning. It has a depth to it that no other album made by anyone else could grasp.
Stalaggh recorded the screams and cries of people who were put in mental institutions. These cries and screams were allowed to be recorded through a contract that told the patients exactly what they were doing, and why they were doing this. Almost all of the patients agreed, and they were put in ... read more
If you hear this on the radio, you might want to call a mental wellness check on the DJ. It's probably too late for him. Anyways, this feels like the Olivia Rodrigo of rap, repetitive, boring, and it makes you feel nothing. Probably an industry plant/cashgrab in some sort of fashion. Destroy Lonely has not improved at all. I literally yawned 3 times during listening to this. I was glad to hear another voice at the end of the album only to realize it was Ken Carson, and then realized that he ... read more
