I knew I was going to be disappointed the second I heard Reason Why. A song that I used to obsess over, listening to a shitty youtube rip with DJ's talking over it just for a single hit of that beat. What was once a punchy, involutary ass shaker, is now a chill beat to vibe to. How did this happen?

Some of the solo tracks are alright. Lyrics are cringe across the board but I can at least listen to Crush and Wonder in the background. Oh lord these collab tracks though... Gorgeous and I'm His are trash. JID is filling in Kendrick's shoes of releasing a classic then tarnishing his name with features. Woman's World is of course still just a black void of embarassment.

Never liked Conan's music, but the way he grabs a theme and fully commits is really cool. Not just an 80s inspired album but a full takeover of the aesthetic. Some of the vocal processing is offputting but past that these are really well written songs and Conan kills the performances. Never Ending Song, Lonely Dancers, and Forever With Me are my big stand outs.

The absolute worst elements of metalcore. The shittiest rapping you've ever heard in your life. Lyrics so cringe that I can't believe even RONNIE RADKE would release them. I'm genuinely shocked Tom McDonald didn't feature on this.
