This is a very fun idea for an album. I remember the night when I couldn’t sleep, and this album helped me.
This album is very subtle in its changes in tone and sound; I like it.
When this album first saw the light of day, it had around a 70–80 rating (I can’t really recall), which is crazy because I think people forgot that on this album Kanye West was allegedly singing controversial things. Later, he supposedly tried to fix it by changing the song lyrics from “N-word, Heil Hitler” to “N-word, hallelujah.” This failed, and now he’s trying to make amends by changing the whole album. The title of this album is very good, but the whole album feels like a aventure time song, but worst, do not recomand.
It's weird, really. I never thought I would ever rate an album like this—not to say it doesn’t deserve its chance to be rated, and I’m not implying that this album is in any way bad or regrettable. I just don’t believe it truly deserves its own review.
So then, why bother? Although I’m not entirely convinced this album merits a review, I have chosen to write one.

This album really surprised me. I’d heard plenty of praise for Currents, and I can see why — it has a very distinct and original sound. Still, I can’t say the whole album felt completely satisfying.
