This is an album for people who are not really into music. Meaning, it's an album someone who knows few others can pull out of their ass to be part of a conversation (say at a party) and then look like they are knowledgable about popular music (the newer equivalent is talking about Tool as a whole). It's like someone who knows nothing about movies, but they pull out Ex Machina or Being John Malkovich whenever a conversation comes up. Everyone from Lana Del Ray, The Tindersticks, Orville Peck, and especially The White Stripes have tried replicating the sound this band generated organically over seven albums, but in the end, they came off a little too polished. Not to mention, there isn't a bad album in the seven studio releases - if you're a fan.
