Been listening to Bleood for a minute and have found his projects pretty hit or miss so far, but each record has had some creative and bizarre ideas that keep me coming back. Honestly didn’t impress me. After such a long wait and so much hype for this record, especially all these crazy rumours about which producers or featured artists would appear, this just felt so tame for Rocky. Some people would argue that the wait has influenced people’s perception on the quality of the record, and without a doubt it causes you to enter with certain expectations, but this has already fallen out of my rotation, aside from a couple tracks. Not going back to this. Pretty disappointing, with a track or two that are pretty solid, but overall left very little impression on me. I’m down for Denzel to do these side quests, but this one just didn’t land
love slayr’s production and transitions, such a great bend of different sounds, from contemporary rage to the bouncy, fun sounds reminiscent of Uzi, to crazy EDM drops. I think slayr’s definitely has room to improve, but is already such a promising and exciting artist.
