Quadeca - I Didn't Mean to Haunt You

How do I put my thoughts about this album into words? It’s honestly overwhelming. This album fills me with the deepest depression and dread, but in a comforting way? The songs are so sad that I feel sick when I listen to it sometimes but also every track is a certified banger. I am so obsessed with the production - the soundscape is incredibly lush and darkly whimsical in a way that fits the concept so well and resonates with my SOUL. The mixture of dupstep techno industrial with R&B shouldn't work but it so does. I can definitely see why this wouldn't be for everyone but I love it. I think it is wonderfully weird. The first time I listened to it I thought my headphones were glitching, but nope that's just how it sounds. Limit to Your Love will always be one of my favs.

This is one of those albums where if one song plays randomly, I have no choice but to go to the album and listen to the whole thing. I have the time of my life every time I listen. I also love how each song transitions into the next. Bring back 80's techno pop!!

Dazey and the Scouts - Maggot

Genuinely just one of the funnest albums I have ever listened to!! The vocals are goofy and hauntingly beautiful at the same time, the lyrics are wild (aka incredible), and the instrumentation is perfectly chaotic and fun. Groan is a banger. Maggot is my favorite because of the slow build to her belting at the end. And Sweet Cis Teen has the most amazing slow pull bridge to buildup of screaming chaos. I LOVE THIS ALBUM

Another one of my all time favorites!! I usually get overwhelmed by the music and cry everytime I listen to this, it's magic. Never has an album melted together as nicely as this one. So many good memories and emotions attached to this masterpiece.

My favorite, my beloved, DAVID BOWIE. This is genuinely a perfect album. Every single song is amazing. It transports you to another universe while still being relatable. It makes me ascend to the heavens and simultaneously want to dance around. I get emotional everytime I listen to this album, it is just so close to my heart.

Jeff Buckley - Grace

Might be my favorite album of all time. Every single aspect is perfect. I re-fall in love with it every time I listen.
