I liked this album more than Hybrid Theory but Linkin Park is just still not my thing. I like when they lean more into the grunge garage band sound and this album did that which was awesome! I’m just amazed at how perfectly each instrument works together. The jazzy drums, soft melodic guitars overlapping, weird time signatures, his melancholic voice, and a saxophone or trumpet here and there - it’s perfect. 27 might be one of the saddest songs l've ever heard but ok. This album is a punch in the face of energy from the first second and it does the punk post-hardcore sound PERFECTLY. I think Floral Green has higher highs, but this one is more consistent so I ended up liking it more. I love the quick drums, long instrumentals, and lowkey beautiful guitar riffs. First album of 2026 and OH MY GOD TRUE EDM TECHNO HOUSE MUSIC IS BACK!!! Maybe 2016 really is making a comeback. This album was so much fun!!
