Very impressive, ambitious, and beautiful, but also a bit boring: this album is the musical equivalent of admiring a classical sculpture in an art exhibit. Sure, it's expertly crafted, technically artistic, and a remarkable demonstration of the kind of beauty humans can create with the medium, but honestly, I already forgot about it on my way home listening to something else.

First Neil Young album outside of Déjà Vu when he was with Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and I gotta say, this is a very average 70s folk rock album to me. There’s electric country guitars, dusty harmonies, and a soft-spoken white guy singing about girls and road trips. Offensively boring and uninspired pop metal. Spent most of the album watching the clock waiting for it to end.
Initial reaction: no skips. Great bars, beats, flow, and features. First JID album for me, but I’m definitely checking out the rest of his music after this. Straight heat 🔥
